Great and knowledgeable staff.
Great location in Yaletown, and ten minutes away from Robson shopping district.

I have been staying at the Opus in Vancouver for many years now and I always enjoy my time. You can't beat the location and the service is fantastic.

You are almost across the street from the LRT (20min to/from airport), 5 minute walk to False Creek (walking/biking trails, bike rentals, water taxi to Granville Island), and you are in the middle of one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Vancouver with world-class bars, restaurants, and services.

They really take customer service to a new level. You won't be disappointed.

This hotel in in the Yaletown district.

It was extreamly easy to get to from disembarking from the cruise ship... Got on the Canada Line at the Waterfront Station ... two stops later at the Yaletown Station. Opus was kitty corner less than one block up.

We arrived very early and they accommodated us by taking our luggage and we were free to explore Yaletown. We roamed for about an hour before we stopped at the Yaletown Brewery, found a comfy spot to hang out and watch our Football Team win. Yaletown has $9.00 pizza's on Sundays.

After the game we checked into our Hotel Room.

After Dinner we stopped in at the Opus lobby for dessert and after dinner drink. The Customer Service was awesome. Drink was just what we needed to top off the evening... Oh and the Jumbo Cookie and Chocolate Panna Cotta was to die for!

The only down side would be that the rooms are near busy traffic areas and I was occasionally woken up by outdoor street sounds.

Room Tip: Room 205 is next to the Work Out Room... so avoid that one.

OPUSHotel, General Manager at Opus Hotel, responded to this reviewResponded 29 September 2011

Thank you very much for choosing OPUS Vancouver for your recent trip to our city. It was simply great to read how much you enjoyed your experience with us. We agree with your comments regarding how amazing the local Yaletown neighborhood is, especially with the Canada Line station so close by. Hopefully we will get another opportunity to welcome you back to OPUS Vancouver in the very near future. In the meantime ...GO SEAHAWKS!

Sincerely,

Nicholas Gandossi

We recently stayed at the Opus while in Vancouver for a "girls weekend". You can't beat the location - close to all the excitement of Yaletown. The first night, the noise from outside kept me up to (partiers on a Friday night). The next morning I asked if a quieter room would be available. I was told the hotel was sold out, they would see what they could do. The manager called me to inform me they had found a room (an upgrade) in a very quiet location. The new room was great! I was every impressed with the customer service and my stay in general.

The best location in Vancouver, hands down. Excellent shopping right outside the door, so much to see and do all within walking distance. The OPUS staff is friendly, professional, helpful and made us feel at home. Would highly recommend.
