We walked into the apartment and immediately felt a warm, cosy and comfortable 'at home' feeling. We had a Studio & Den apartment which was certainly spacious enough for just the two of us. The den (office) room in the front was a pleasant bonus and just perfect for us to use our notebook computer. The kitchen was extremely well appointed with crockery, cutlery and every appliance you could wish for. We did not cook in the apartment but made good use of the microwave and washing machine and dryer. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels etc. The little extras like cable TV (plenty of choices to watch), fold out couch, stereo, iron and ironing board, coffee machine were just such an added bonus. We had a very late night arrival and the receptionist waited back to check us in. All staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The roof top patio was such a relaxing place to spend time. This patio is equipped with B-B-Q;s and cooking utensils and plastic dinnerware. The building is in a great location very near to Stanley Park with plenty of restaurants around and a big grocery supermarket right across the road. We felt very safe within the building as there is good security for entering and exiting the building. The area is safe, clean and upmarket and there is local transport very close. No 5 bus will take you downtown. The hotel offers discount tickets to local attractions and the staff are ready and willing to offer directions and advice. There is a parking garage underneath which is very convenient. We hired a car on our check out day (to continue our travels into the Rockies) and management were happy for us to park the car while we packed and checked out of the unit. The luggage trolleys also came in very handy. We highly recommend Times Square Suites Hotel. So much better than a sterile hotel room. Such a gem.

Room Tip: Room 408 faces the car park at the back of the building and is extremely quiet.

We booked a 2-bedroom apartment , 2couples for two different nights pre & post our Alaska cruise .
We were looking forward to spending a good night sleep after an exhausting flight and we were absolutely disappointed with the quality of sleep we got.
The second bedroom was really small and without A/C . We opened the window to get some air only to shut it back few minutes later due to the excessive noise from outside.
The amenities were limited and not being catered for four adults so we ended up buying some more sugar and coffee.
Although the booking was confirmed and an email sent to the hotel prior to our arrival advising them about the number of guests in the apartment ( 4), upon check in the staff were confused about the total number of people.
They were kind enough to allow us an early check in though.
After such bed experience we cancelled the second night and booked at a near by hotel.

The location here is great, located in the West End close to heaps of cafes and restaurants, etc. As for 2 couples sharing a 2 bedroom suite, it was not suitable. The smaller 2nd bedroom only just contained enough room for the bed. There was only air conditioning in the living area, so at night it became quite stuffy unless you opened the window, but then the noise from the street became quite loud. Despite booking this place nearly a year in advance and confirming that 4 adults were to stay in the suite, when we checked in they seemed a bit shocked that it was indeed 4 adults staying there. We were to return later in our holiday for another night but cancelled and found a much better apartment, much larger and cheaper, just around the corner.

We chose to stay at the Times Square Suites based on the positive comments given on TripAdvisor. A delightful, well located, clean place to stay with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The suite was fully equipped with everything needed – from a bottle opener to the laundry soap. An excellent and highly worthwhile place to stay. It is within walking distance of the marina and the squawking of the sea gulls did not diminish the enjoyment of our stay!

Stayed here for two nights, lovely big large suite with all facilities, really appreciated the laundry.
Easy walk to Stanley Park and sea wall and Coal Harbour. Lots of Asian eating places.
Friendly staff.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper ask for a room not facing Denman Street, as busy.

We stayed 2 nights in a Den Suite and were amazed by the location and the price. This was our first visit to Vancouver (from out East) and the staff was super helpful. I would love to return to Vancouver some day and this will definitely be the place I will choose to stay!!!

First, the location is perfect. Literally a few steps away from restaurants of varied cuisine, Safeway and Whole Foods, a 20 minute pleasant walk to downtown for shopping, 10 minute walk to English Bay beach and Stanley Park. There's a bike rental next door and a gym a block away. Bus goes up and down Robson if you get tired walking. A bit of a walk though to the nearest skytrain station. No in-house restaurant but there is a Starbucks right beside and many choices for quick or leisurely breakfast. Secondly, the rooms are spacious, clean and complete with balcony, living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and utility area for laundry. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed for a third occupant. Front office is very helpful, efficient and cheerful. There is air conditioning only in the bedroom and only an electric fan in the living room. It was still pleasant in May and ok inside the room during the day. I am not sure how it will be in the summer months though. I will definitely recommend.
