“Times Square Suites is a WINNER!!!”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

Times Square Suites is an excellent property, very well maintained and with a very knowledgeable staff. The suite was a very nice sized one bedroom apartment with a comfortable bed and bedding. They thought of everything and included a washer/dryer and very fluffy bathrobes for our use. Although we arrived about 4 hours earlier than planned our unit was ready and our check in was quick and easy. Their representative gave us restaurant recommendation, places of interest to visit and was very helpful. The unit was very nice, clean and properly prepared for our arrival. We definitely enjoyed our stay there and would certainly come back next time we are in Vancouver.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the street. We had no problem with noise and had a very pretty view.

Really nice hotel for a reasonable price in a nice neighborhood in a great city. Couldn't ask for more. I was in Vancouver with my son for some sightseeing and college visits. We were actually shocked at how nice the room was when we walked in. It is convenient to Stanley Park, which is a beautiful park, and close to many good restaurants. If you like walking, you can get to the center of downtown and to Granville Island from here. There are also bike rentals available next door.

Had a great stay at Times Square. The location, the room both were fantastic. Close to Stanley Park. Supermarket across the road and the BBQ on the roof top was awesome for our last night bbq. The rooms were immaculate and so so comfy. Loved every minute would highly recommend to anyone staying in Vancouver.

We stayed 5 nights at the Times Square Suites prior to our Alaskan cruise. As soon as we walked in the door we were impressed by the cleanliness, the good size, the amenities and the "homey' feel of the hotel. We stayed in the one bedroom and den on Robson. The only downside was the traffic noise when the doors or windows were left open. The air conditioning was also quite noisy. However, this did not really impact on our stay. The location was BRILLIANT - so convenient to Stanley Park, cafes and the Safeway supermarket right across the street. The staff were welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer, and the kitchen was well stocked. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Vancouver. Highly recommended.

Just a word of thanks for the excellent accommodation and service during our stays in June. The apartment was clean, spacioius and with all the amenities we could hope for. The rooftop BBQ was also a great idea which we took advantage of.

Location was also excellent, 5-10 minutes walk to Coal Harbour, bus services downtown on the doorstep(run every 5 mins or so) and only a 15 minute walk to Stanley Park. Many restaurants within a few minutes walk with Starbuck's below and a Safeway supermarket opposite.

The staff were fantastic, full of knowledge and couldn’t be more helpful, from taking our cases to our room to organising taxis.

Would come again without hesitation and will recommend to our friends

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are very quiet

We spent a day and night in Vancouver before joining an Alaskan cruise. We wanted a place that was reasonably priced and conveniently located to the port. This place turned out to be perfect! We'd never been to Vancouver before, so we were very pleased to discover the wonder of Stanley Park just a couple blocks from our hotel. We spent many pleasant hours walking there. The hotel is located in a lively section of town, and you'll find restaurants---all kinds of restaurants---in every direction. Because our suite had a full kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom, we opted for picking up food at the nearby Whole Foods and also the Safeway to prepare meals in our room.

The suite is fully furnished, even with a clothes washer and dryer which we made good use of. The kitchen is stocked with cooking and dining gear, so eating there was easy. Flat screen TVs are in the bedroom and in the living room.

The staff was friendly and helpful---even calling a cab for us when it came time to board our ship. The cab ride was less than 5 minutes, and it cost under $10.

Cruise or not, if we were going to be in Vancouver again, we'd stay here!

Room Tip: We had a corner room with great windows. Upper floors will be quieter because the hotel really is i...

Just spent a night prior and five nights post Alaskan cruise at the Times Square Apartments.

The first night we were given a room at the rear of the motel and it was excellent. The room was as clean as our own home and had every amenity we could possibly want. Only downside was an inadequate air conditioning unit.

Our post cruise 5 night stay was spent in a room facing Denman Street and was just as clean with the same facilities. The problem with this room was a combination of inadequate air conditioning and street noise. If the air conditioning had been better we could have kept the windows and door closed and the noise would have been bearable. As it was we had to keep the room opened up while we were there and just put up with the noise. We live in a very quiet area so the noise was very foreign to us and hard to adjust to.If the weather had of been cooler during our stay the noise would not have been such a problem as we could of kept the room closed up.

The staff were great and the rooms perfect except for the noise and air conditioning.

Room Tip: Insist on a room at the rear.
