A trip to the Fraser River sturgeon fishery should be on every fisherman’s bucket list.

Our guide Matt was excellent. Despite slower than usual conditions, he worked hard to make sure we caught the fish of a lifetime. She was 9’4” to the fork about 10 ft total length. About 400 lbs. Not only did she fight for over an hour, she launched herself completely out of the water three times, once right behind the boat!

We would recommend this excursion to any fisherman planning a trip to BC.

Our guide Matt was awesome, moved us around to make sure to put us on the fish. Extremely accommodating from start to finish. We caught 2 monsters and a 3rd three footer, all were a great fight. I have used a ton of guides and these guys are right at the top of the list. Wish I could add a 6th star.

Myself and my wife went for a days Sturgeon fishing at the start of June while in Vancouver. We went out with Braydan who was a really great guy with loads of experience and put us onto your first first within 20 minutes.

In total we got 6 fish mostly in the 5-8 foot range then a monster of around 10 foot near the ended of the day. They all put up some fight with the biggest taking me around 45 minutes for tire out. Unfortunately the river level was too high to bring the fish to the shore so photos from the side of the boat had to do.

We would definitely choose Langs for another trip as Braydan knew his stuff and where to get the big fish from years of experience and you could tell he really enjoyed his job.

There was also another boat not too far from us who we only saw catch 2 fish. While we headed back an hour early and my arms and lower back couldn't take anymore.

Thanks for an awesome days fishing and a fish of a lifetime.

Our second trip with Lang, and just like the last, it has been insanely fun, active, and crazy to say the least with the Dinosaurs we caught & release. I caught a 8.7 footer, and our friend who had the largest catch of the day got one at 9.2 foot.

Hands down, we'll be booking again with Lang's Fishing adventures, but this time we'll remind him to bring a BBQ baby!

We had an amazing time. We went out in 2 boats with Matt and Darren and ended up putting 7 fish in the boat or on the beach from 3’ to over 7’. The fishing was tough but they did their absolute best to keep the bite going. I would 100%hands down recommend fishing with Lang’s. Very professional and made everything easy. BC’s licensing website is also a breeze.
