Recently, friends and I attempted to tour this attraction. Unfortunately, the outlying brewery was easy to find but the same could not be said about the brewery tour.
Worse, we parked in what is clearly stated as a visitor's parking lot. Then approached a security booth to enter the premise. Instead, the guard on duty rudely told us we had to vacate the premise. We had learned that we were at the freight entrance for the brewery. The security guard was belittling in his tone and abrasive with his comments.
Upon asking about the tour's correct location, he pointed out to a back exit by the parking lot we had entered; the exit led to nowhere. Furtheremore, he told us to look-up the location on the internet as though we were cavemen who had never before used the internet (we used it to plan our trip in the first place). The man offered no further help and added that we were supposed to check in with him before parking in the visitor's parking lot (those instructions were not clearly stated on the sign to the visitor's parking lot).
Also, we friends and I were polite and sober upon approaching the man. This behaviour is ridiculous and intolerable. I know dealing with tourists can be a nuissance but that is apart of his job. After all, the Molson brewery and the support of tourists and beer consumers supports his paycheck.
That said, I rarely consume Molson products but as it stands, I may never again drink another Molson beer since the organization has decided to nullify a great marketing tool by having such disrespect for its consumers.
