“Trendy, happening place”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

The Olympic Village has been built up considerably since the 2010 Olympics. It is located along the False Creek, with amazing views of the boats, docks and city. There is ample greenspace and cool seats along the Creek that surrounds the Village. There are lots of cafes and restaurants close-by if you're hungry, and they all have a great view of the bay.

“great views, amazing food”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

we were so impressed with what we found here. It was right on the water, with great paved trails for biking and walking. We ate at the Tap and Barrel. this restaurant was definitely worth it. We sat on the 2nd storey patio overlooking the bay.

“Deserves a walk-thru”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

Although there’s not a lot to see here, it is worth a walk-thru if you are touring the seawall by bike or False Creek via one of the foot ferries (the Village is one of their stops). What’s neat are the designs of the buildings and the whole layout of the village; also interesting gardens and small shops to browse. There are beautiful outdoor seating areas where you can sit and savour the sights and sounds of False Creek. Across the Creek are beautiful views of downtown Vancouver and the coastal mountains. There's often free entertainment and displays in the main square.
