“Ugliest University in the prettiest spot”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

University of BC, per se, is not worth the visit. The gardens (at least five of them) are a different story--well worth attending to.

“Fabulous!!!”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

The reasons of my visit were two: the stunning Museum of Anthropology (MOA) and the great Chan Centre for the Performing Arts, also located very close to the campus of UBC.
The visit to the MOA was one of the highest points of my stay in Vancouver and I strongly recommend it. At the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts I've attended a memorable performance of Handel's oratorium Israel in Egypt with some of the many talented Canadian artists who dedicate themselves to Early Music, such as the Canadian soprano Suzy LeBlanc.

“Bontanical and Nitobe Gardens”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

The Nitobe Gardens is a Japanese Garden and very well done. Tells the life story of a Japanese boy/man. The entrance fee can be combined with the UBC Botantical Gardens.

“Don't Miss the Anthropology Museum”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

We are Never in Vancouver without visiting the U OF BC Museum of Anthropology. The quality of the collection is unsurpassed. Don't stop with the big pieces, open some drawers and be amazed.and it is worth at least two to three hours. The rest of the Campus has some nice parks and beaches. Enjoy it all.
