A spacious quiet room in the heart of the city with a sliding door over a patio garden so you can open your door and sleep with fresh air and surrounded by tall buidlngs ... Like an oasis in the city. Super staff, very helpful and professional and the continental breakfast is amazing .. The young man Matt who serves at that early hour is a great source of local food information and his energy makes your day ...everything from the oatmeal through to the selection of fruits and the offer of a spinach and goats cheese/ egg wrap is terrific a seriously pleasant start to the day and leave room to go to Kirin for lunch yum char a short stroll away . This is a classy property and the details like Loden oil " to relax" and the carafe of water by your bedside makes a huge difference when you have jet lag !

Room Tip: Ask for a room with access to the garden

I'm not sure how our stay could have been better. The staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The food in tableaux was excellent and it was a great place to have a warm up cocktail before heading out on the town. The gym was great. The spa therapist was excellent. I had a facial. We borrowed bikes to ride through stanley park. They gave us water for our trip. I would really recommend this. the rooms are a nice size and well appointed with comfortabke beds and nice bath products (molton brown) plus the robes are nice. Love the complimentary paper, wifi, petit chocs and coffee. Good location. Thanks for a great stay!

Pleasing entrance and efficient check in with appropriate level of chattiness did not make up for the fact that the room had no slippers and bathroom design so inefficient that you could not do a thing without getting water all over the place!
Finally, one morning - very early - the coffee set up in the lobby wasn't quite working right. They directed me to the dining room for what, I assumed, would have been complimentary coffee. They charged me for the coffee and in so doing lost me as a future customer.
The restaurant offered good meals, reasonably priced. The crew in the dining room top notch.

Impeccable hotel - no wonder it's #3 on the list right now. Starting with the location, it's perfectly situated downtown and within walking distance to tons of shops, restaurants and the waterfront. When you first walk into the hotel you are immediately struck with a stunning design - the dark stone, lush upholstery and beautiful artwork. And the design of the room is at the same level - huge windows overlooking the city. I was lucky enough to have a corner room which had a view of the city, mountains and water. Desks and lounge chairs are integrated into the design with flat screen televisions mounted on the concrete columns so they don't obstruct the outdoor view. Extremely comfortable beds with a wall of mirror behind the headboard. Beautiful bathrooms with separate shower'and freestanding soaker tub. Modern vanity with vessel sink and separate toilet area. Large built in closets. Great service and clean accommodation overall. Will definitely be back!!

My wife and I stayed here and loved it. The staff was super friendly and the room blew away our expectations. It was super modern and nice. The only thing that could be improved was the overly complicated TV system, which would take ~2 minute to turn on and and sometimes would change channels minutes after pushing the buttons.

But this place is incredible!

Not a large place, but very nice clean rooms with floor to ceiling windows. Centrally located. Two blocks to convention center. Excellent service. They were very attentive to our needs. Free expresso in the lobby and even free umbarellas as you leave when it's likely to rain. Free shuttle service in an English cab downtown. Great place. This is the place to stay in downtown Vancouver.
