“Decent stop”
Reviewed 9 April 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

We were trying to get breakfast at the amazing smelling waffle place down the street from the previous night but they were closed. Settled for this and it hit the spot. A little overpriced but they have some interesting options. They aren't the quickest but I guess that shows quality too. Doesn't stand out too much but you won't be disappointed.

“Lunch Beef sandwich”
Reviewed 15 January 2014 via mobile

Have had it a couple of times now. Very tasty with fried onions and a good size serving. Not a big fan of their soups. Cafe is pretty basic but comfortable with polite staff.

“Good breakfast in the area”
Reviewed 20 December 2013

I had been to the little café couple of times. Tried their salmon sandwich first time, and it was tasty. Toasted bread, cream cheese, capers, made an awesome breakfast.

Second time I tried waffle, with fruit salad. It came with à choice of five syrups, and whip cream. Very filling, come next time with empty stomach. Good value breakfast café in the neighborhood.

“Never Again”
Reviewed 14 December 2013

We went here with friends for breakfast as we had heard the food was good. Had we not been with friends, I would have left as the four meals were served individually, it took at least 45 minutes before the first meal came out and by the time the fourth person was eating, the first person was done.

“Maybe next year”
Reviewed 26 October 2013

Yes, the food was good, if not at all inspired. And the staff could not have been more polite. But, we now understand why the cafe is named after Gutenberg, who produced one book at a time. So went our meal -- four of us, four deliveries, spaced about 6 minutes apart. This is not a classy venue -- paper plates and pepper in a huge Kirkland bottle.
