This was our first trip to Victoria and it was awesome! We took the Clipper across the pond and this hotel is right around the corner from where the Clipper docks. Just a short stroll and we're home. Checking in was easy, room was ready and immaculate. This is a classy hotel. We did a lot of sight seeing around Victoria but when we did finally drag our butts home we rested comfortably here. They also have a fitness center with pool/hot tub/sauna, steam room. Soaking in the hot tub after exploring all day was one of the highlights of our vacation. Hotel is also conveniently located to downtown. We walked all over downtown, Old Town and China Town. Parliament and the Royal BC Museum are both close by. We'll be back again, in the summer.

Victoria is one of our favourite places to run away to for mini vacations. We’ve stayed at many hotels in the harbour and downtown but we always come back to Hotel Grand Pacific. There are so many reasons why - excellent customer service, well appointed rooms, great food in the restaurant & pub, helpful concierge & front desk staff, well equipped gym & pool, there’s a cafe & spa on the premises and the view !!! And how can I forget the ducks that visit in the pond out front. As IPrefer members we were upgraded to a harbour view so we could watch water traffic. And we took advantage of the BC resident 10% off rate as well. Thank you once again for a perfect stay. We look forward to our next stay in a few weeks.

This a FABULOUS hotel. Absolutely amazing! We are a family of four with very young children and they did everything they could to make our stay easier including providing us with free milk for our baby. Service at this hotel deserves more than 5 stars - truly exemplary. The hotel is beautiful and in an ideal location. If you can, go for the updated rooms - they are gorgeous. The design is very luxurious and the rooms are nice and large.

Room Tip: Splurge on an updated room

We really liked this place. The room was very nice, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. We had a room facing the harbor, so the view was nice. We were going to do Afternoon Tea at the Empress, which we've done more than a few times, but noticed they did it at The Grand Pacific also. So that was a really nice find and the Tea and the three tier tray was tasty to say the least. The server we had for Tea was really good. We will be staying here again, and I recommend it to anyone.

We were a family of 4, and only stayed one night at this amazing hotel. We arrived from Vancouver in a bus, and the bus stop is only 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. We were given a room with a view of the city and waterfront. The hotel is right next to the Parliament building and about 5 minutes away from the port where you can take the ferry to Seattle.

Our room had two double beds, a TV, and a balcony. The bathroom was decent size, and was equipped with the necessary toiletries. The hotel only has one dining restaurant, and one cafe. But we didn't eat at either.

We were mostly touring the city during the day, and had a comfortable night stay. I would highly recommend this hotel during your visit to Victoria.

Room Tip: Get a room with the waterfront view.
