From the salt on the french fries to the soaps in the washrooms, this place is dedicated to keeping it as local as possible while providing a world class lodging experience! extremely friendly staff and amazingly comfortable rooms. When in Victoria i will stay nowhere else. Also they brew their own beer and vinegars, bake their on pastries and bread, and make their own chocolates. What else can i say.

It was my first time staying in Victoria so we decided to try Spinnakers out. The level of service was top notch and the cleanliness was even better. Every morning we received that terrific little picnic basket of breakfast at the door that was always hot and the paper was always included. The bed was comfortable and in the restaurant and pub the food and beer was to die for. No questions asked we plan to stay there again.

We would definitely recommend staying here. Everything was perfect: the food, the service, the view, the location, the room....... We wished we could have stayed longer. We will be back to stay here again next time we visit Victoria. Loved it !!!!!

Room Tip: We stayed in #4 which is a beautiful small room with. a nice balcony at the back of the house so it w

Earlier in the year we stayed at the Magnolia, and decided to look for something a bit different. Given some of the comments on TA, I was a little nervous about Spinnakers, but am very glad that we decided to stay. The room was wonderful, from the prepared wood-burning fireplace to the large bathtub. I loved the super-high ceilings. We both found the pillows to be a little hard and thick, which gave us both stiff necks in the morning (not sure if other pillows are available), but the bed was very comfy. It is true as mentioned by another reviewer that the shower curtain is very ineffective and not only blows in on you while showering, but results in water everywhere. This can be fixed by adjusting the curtains so that they open at either end of the tub, rather than at the sides. There was a little confusion with the breakfast in the morning, but that was rapidly sorted out. We had a great lunch and dinner in the upstairs pub/dining room. The food was well prepared, with a wide range of items on the menu ranging from pub fare to full meals. there is even a pretty good selection of wines. The view was superb by the window, and if you have lunch on the outside deck, you may have an enjoyable time interacting with their quasi-resident seagull. We also really enjoyed the location. The parking is free (not $20 a night, as is the case on the other side of the bridge), and there is a great walk along the seawall that goes several kms.

Great location, only a short & very scenic walk to downtown!! I am a Hotel Manager in Kentucky, so I tend to be quite critical when staying at hotels. I have to say that, absolutely EVERY employee we encountered was awesome!! They have customer service down to a tee!! My husband & I arrived well before checkin time & our room was not ready yet. The Front Desk held our luggage so that we could explore Victoria without having to drag it around with us! When we arrived back at Spinnaker's, our room was ready & the clerk helped us with our luggage & walked us to our room! We had purchased the Romance Package. The fresh flowers (beautiful), wine (instead of champange, thank you!) & chocolates were waiting for us! They even remembered a cork screw!! We were given a table overlooking the harbour for dinner. The food was very tasty!! And the beer was awesome! My husband was in heaven! LOL. Our room was absolutely adorable! And the bed.....WOW!!! It was the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in! It's a good thing it wouldn't fit in my suitcase!! LOL The jacuzzi tub was awesome after a long day of sightseeing! The only complaint I have is the shower. The spent more time fighting with the shower curtain than anything in the morning! But it was great comic relief! Breakfast arrived at 8:30am, in the most adorable basket! And again, they did not forget a thing! The scones were awesome!! I would definitely recommend staying with the great folks of Spinnaker's. The next time we are in Victoria, we knkow exactly where we will be staying!
