“Good way to see the sights.”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

We decided to do this on the spur of he moment as there was a bus stopped not far from our hotel. With limited time out was. Great way to get a feel for the city and to see the sights. Only did one trip as we arrived in the afternoon. Walked to some of the places wee had seen the next day.

“Take this tour!”
Reviewed 16 September 2013

Great tour! You get to see a good part of the city and surrounding area. The driver we had was great. Maybe we got lucky, but we only had about a 20 minute wait for the bus. The tour was pre-recorded, so it doesn't go in-depth on the various locations, but the driver seemed willing to add extra tid-bits if asked.
We were so impressed with this tour that we decided to do the same in Vancouver. Don't bother with the Vancouver tour unless you just want to know where all of the hotels are.

“Confused by some reviews here”
Reviewed 5 September 2013

First, there is a schedule of the 13, not 20 stops. They run on schedule. We das an excellent driver who pointed out all the highlights of the city. This tri is well worth it to see all the island. Biggest drawback is that there were only two buses and there was an hour between each bus stopping at each stop. Some stops required only a half hour and some were an hour an a half which meant some wasted time. That being said, we saw and did so much more. Cost was $28 per person. Posted by grinandbreakit.com

“Drivers not very helpful...it is what it is.”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

Before the tour started (we got on at the start of the day at the first stop), we asked the driver about the Craigdarroch Castle and St. Andrews Cathedral, two of the stops on the tour. He said he hadn't been to either of them. I would think that as a prerequisite, the drivers would be required to visit all of the stops on the tour--or at the very least, the Castle, which is likely the most popular stop! Little did we know, that would be the last we would even hear of the driver, other than to announce the stops. The entire tour was prerecorded, which was a bit disappointing, though the commentary was interesting enough. Overall, this tour provided a convenient way to get a brief overview of Victoria as well as provide us transportation to a couple of sites that we wanted to see. They could do much better....but overall it was worth doing. However, if you want to hop off more than once or twice, plan to spend most of the day on this tour, as buses only come about every 45 min. Would be nice if they had a couple more buses so they could run more frequently.
