This hotel is in a great location with a beautiful view of the harbor. I was surprised to find it didn't have air conditioning but as it turned out, it was cool enough in the evening so the heat wasn't a problem. We had 3 patio doors to let fresh air in. The breakfast was good with a great view! The front desk staff were very helpful with information on how best to get around the city

We stayed 4 nights in this wonderful place; 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, living, dining, kitchen, MASSIVE wrap around deck overlooking the inner harbor. Everything about our unit (#307) was top notch - furnishings, beds, linens, VIEWS, service, staff, parking, etc. You'll have to book way in advance and expect to pay a premium, as this is truly a premium property.

Room Tip: Our suite, by our vote and by at least one of the staff, is the best in the place - but maybe too la...

Had my husband's 60th Birthday here. 2 bedroom suite overlooking the water. Our guests LOVED it. Manager, Christina, made everything work with ease. Later we enjoyed the beautiful harbour lights, WOW!

We have opportunity to stay in Victoria a few times each year, and we are really glad to have found the Victoria Regent Hotel. The apartment size rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff go out of their way to be accommodating and the free breakfast bar is a perfect start to the day. The downtown location is perfect and the free underground parking is appreciated and convenient.
After having tried most hotels in Victoria we'll stick with the Regent.

We had reserved a two-bedroom suite (for two couples) and upon arrival we were upgraded to an executive suite, #406, which was a very large apartment with kitchen, dining and living room, two separate bedroom suites, and a balcony that overlooked the harbor. Decor was contemporary and well-maintained. Free parking is located in a garage beneath the hotel. "Continental" breakfast turned out to be a very nice sampling of hot and cold choices in a room off the lobby that also overlooked the harbor. Staff was helpful in every way. We only stayed two nights and hated to leave.

Room Tip: We were in room 406, an executive suite that had a large balcony overlooking the harbor.

Our group of 5 gals gathered for our annual get together, this year in Victoria. This accommodation was perfect for us. Great downtown location, so we could walk everywhere and easy access to restaurants and shopping. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the water in the evening. Suite was spacious, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and all nicely furnished. The breakfast included in the nightly rate was a very pleasant surprise - far more offered than the typical continental breakfast (ie included hot cereal and boiled eggs) and the view of the legislative building and harbour from the dining area was lovely. Added bonus is proximity to the float planes for those in our party who flew in and/or out. I have visited Victoria many times and was not aware of this hotel - it's not flashy from the street, but is a bit of a hidden gem.

Room Tip: Rooms on the water (vs street) side have nice views and will be much quieter than the street side...

We received a pleasant welcome and the staff were most helpful. Our room was a good size but the external sound proofing was poor. Our room faced on to the road and one would be better off with a room on the water - but a lot more expensive! The hotel is centrally located and provides free parking. They provide laundry facilities. A mediocre quality continental breakfast is served - and poor coffee.

Room Tip: Avoid the rooms facing the street.
