It's wonderful to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for taking the time to post your review on Trip Advisor. Our guests comments are very much appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you back to our beautiful Garden City! Thank you again!
This Days Inn has just about the most perfect location one could imagine! It is right on the Inner Harbour in Victoria, BC. This makes it very close to so many of Victoria's attractions, including the Parliament building and the Empress Hotel, and also not far from shopping areas and Victoria's Fisherman's Wharf (very small - nothing like the one in my home town, San Francisco - and a great place for casual outdoor dining).
The Days Inn has a very nice lobby, and I appreciated the free computer access. But overall, I think the hotel is due for a renovation. The room where I stayed had a very small bathroom with no counter space - and a full kitchen, which I doubt travelers really need. Remodel - use the space more efficiently. The pool and hot tub could use an upgrade as well; the pool needs steps, not just ladders, and the hot tub felt too hot and it wasn't obvious where the controls were to do something about that. The restaurant serves decent food, but the service is very slow - NOT a good thing when a guest needs to check out and catch the ferry! You need more servers, and better trained servers, to deal with the ferry schedules given your proximity to the terminals. Address these issues - and you will be able to offer the truly great stay in Victoria which your beautiful location deserves!
Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review on Trip Advisor. We are thrilled that you enjoyed our hotel. We are quite lucky that our ideal location allows our guests to be in the heart of downtown; close to shopping, sightseeing, as you'd mentioned and of course the Convention Centre too. Thank you again for taking the time to post this review and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future.
Very comfortable hotel right on the waterfront in Victoria, close to the senate building , on site parking at no extra cost ,which was a bargin , free wi fi, within walking distance to the town centre. Room was comfortable ,clean ,old fashioned but still acceptable, really enjoyed our stay here, great views of the harbour.
We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay and thank you so much for your great comments! We appreciate our guests taking the time to write of their stays with us at the Days Inn Victoria on the Harbour. Wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your harbour view room as well! Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you back to our beautiful city.
The Days Inn is an older hotel built probably around 1970's. Rooms are small but comfortable. Staff were friendly especially so in the restaurant. I normally wouldn't stay at this sort of hotel but my partner insisted that it was great so we did.
She wasn't wrong, the room was great and had the best views over the harbour. Location was excellent .right near the centre of the CBD. Parking included at no extra cost and a continental breakfast.
I'll definitely stay there again especially at the value for money.

We stayed here one night as a stopover before a long drive. Didn't have very high expectations, just wanted a room on the harbour. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful every time we stopped by. The room was ok, was strangely designed with a step up into the bathroom. No air conditioning, but fan provided in the room. Complimentary bottled water in the room was a welcome touch. Free self parking in the back. Good location and easy to walk to all attractions in Victoria. Wouldn't want to stay here more than one night, as it's is very noisy, but that's the price you pay for being right on the harbour only 2 floors up. I discovered a billing discrepancy when we returned home and notified them. It was taken care of quickly and courteously.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write of your recent stay. I'll be sure to pass on your compliments and comments to our staff. It's great that our location is so close to everything, including most of the attractions, so our guests can walk to so much that the city offers. Thank you again, we appreciate the feedback and hope to see you again soon.
Just an average place to stay. Location is excellent. Staff is mediocre. Room doors are set to SLAM close and you hear them slamming shut all day and night.
Thank you for taking the time to write about your visit. Wonderful to hear that you enjoyed our perfect location, unfortunate to hear the guest room doors were slamming during you stay. We'll look into your surrounding guest room doors to get it fixed. Thank you again and we hope to see you again on your next stay.
