We were very last minute, we were walk in guests and were not disappointed. Got a room with a harbour view, beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. This hotel was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay and loved the bar patio downstairs. Would highly recommend to friends and would definitely return for a second stay!

Great location.
Fantastic harbor views.
Well priced hotel and restaurant/pub.
Antique and custom car parade on summer evenings on Belleville street.
During the winter this is the best 3 star hotel on the Victoria inner harbor.
During the summer pick your days as there is no a/c to temper a heat wave. Fans were provided but inadequate.

Great location, great staff, comfortable rooms. Enjoyed my stay, thank you. When I travel, this is the chain I choose, as I am always satisfied. The staff always went out of their way to please every single person that I saw every morning, while I sat in the lounge with a paper and coffee.

This is the second time we stayed here and we were very satisfied both times with the service and the amenities. It is an older property and the rooms are on the small side but they have all been renovated nicely and contain all the comforts we desired. There is a little electric kettle, a small refrigerator and an iron and board supplied. It is located right across the street from the Inner Harbour and walking distance to all downtown attractions. The food in the restaurant and bar is excellent. The salmon burger on a brioche roll is outstanding! They have very reasonable happy hour specials in the lounge. If you select a room at the front just make sure it is located above the restaurant and not the bar. The restaurant closes around 9pm but the bar is open well after midnight! There is a small beer and wine store in the rear of the property. The Provincial Museum, Parliament Buildings, the Empress Hotel and St Anns Academy are within a one to two block walk.

Thank you so much for the fantastic review and rating on your return visit to our hotel! It is terrific to hear such nice feedback and we're happy to hear you liked our recent renovations to all of our guest rooms, including the furniture and addition of mini-fridges. We're lucky to have a great restaurant onsite as well and that you enjoyed their food, we'll be sure to pass on. Thank you again for taking the time to write and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Nothing fancy here, clean comfortable modest hotel on Victoria waterfront. Our usual choice of hotel in Victoria was booked due to a big sailing event, so we found a reasonably priced room here. We liked the fact that it had free on-site parking and it's location across from the Coho Ferry as we did not bring a car.

We got a harbor facing room, but since it was warm enough to have the window open, noise from the restaurant/bar at the hotel below us, as well as traffic noise were distracting. Aside from that, the room was very neat and comfortable. It is obviously a older property and it's a bit long in the tooth in spots, but very acceptable to us. Room prices are a bit higher than a similar inn in a less popular location, but that's to be expected.

Bottom line, for one night it was an acceptable alternative to us. I would definitely stay here again if my first choice wasn't available. The restaurant is pretty good too!
