“First class service in Victoria”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2014

I consider Harbour B&B as the best place to stay in Victoria. Thanks to a wonderful couple, Sue and Zen. The warmth and thoughtfulness they showed us really made a difference- from the tips on where the local restaurants are to the trails to take on a spare time. The Orca room was spacious and comfortable. Sue's ginger cookies are to die for. Sue surprised me with a can full of these goodies (enough to bring home). Breakfast was something to look forward to. Can't wait to be back!

An excellent B&B with outstanding service from beginning to end. We had 2 large king size rooms, both equipped with a whirlpool bath and full tv/dvd facilities. The walk into Victoria is along the coastal path and takes 30 - 40 minutes, depending on the number of photo stops! Sue and Zen could not do enough for us and gave tips on where to eat and drink in the city centre. We stayed 2 nights and had high quality breakfasts, even though the portions were more than we could cope with. Highly recommended

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B. The location is gorgeous and our hosts, Sue and Zen, could not have done more to make us feel welcome. During our stay, both Sue and Zen spent time with us highlighting local attractions and great places to eat out. Without their recommendations, we would definitely have missed out on some great spots. Our room and bed was really comfortable and the home-made breakfasts were outstanding. Close enough to central Victoria to enjoy all the amenities but far enough out to be peaceful. It was really nice to have the sun room area available in the evenings too, if we just wanted a little relaxation time after getting back from a busy day's sight-seeing. It's the personal touches that makes this kind of stay so much nicer than a hotel. Definitely coming again.

Room Tip: We liked the Kingfisher room because it was at the back of the house so we could hear all the harbou...

Just steps away from a water taxi to downtown Victoria, in a friendly, relaxing house. Thanks to our hosts for early coffee! A stop here on a long weekend was a great reminder just how pretty the island can be.

This bed and breakfast is about a 45 min walk into downtown Victoria...but don't let that deter you. The walk along the water - all the way- was one of the enjoyable parts of staying here. Often Sue and Zen, the proprietors, would offer to drive me in - sometimes I took them up on it, and sometimes just wanted to enjoy the walk. Sue and Zen are amazing...wonderful, caring and comfortable people to be around, and thus the inn is the same. I would not hesitate to go back for a visit!

Thank you so much! It is always fun for us to re-discover Victoria through our guests' eyes and we did that with your adventures...the walkway, the water taxi, the sights, the sounds, the food! All fun to hear about each day and thank you for sharing those experiences with us!

My wife I recently stayed at this B&B for four nights. The proprietors go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Every morning we waited to see what nice surprise Sue had made for breakfast. The location is within a 5 minute drive to Victoria or if you prefer, a leisurely walk along the harbour. If you decide to walk take a break at the Spinnakers brew pub, which is located on the walkway. We stayed in the Kingfisher room with a king bed, jetted tub, and large shower. If you want a place to stay that is clean, quiet and close to town, then this is the place. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Sue and Zen.
