The Huntingdon Hotel is so well located on Victoria's inner harbour, and an easy walk downtown or to the area museums. It's located on a quiet street, making for a good night's sleep, but not necessarily for sleeping in. It's a wood-framed building so pretty noisy, as is the plumbing (if your neighbour takes a long shower, you'll know it! But the staff are very nice and helpful. A bonus is that some suites have a small kitchen, handy for storing perishable food items or keeping a bottle of (great) Victoria-brewed beer cold.

We received a deal via Expedia to stay here for one night. If not for the deal, it would have been so very disappointing. Beds are hard, hard, hard. Parking is a cost on top of room fee ($10.) Down spout on the rain gutter has the water splashing down onto a concrete just outside the window makes for a very loud night. Tired room and décor (not a big deal for us,) and the room smells like a strong cleaner, (not pleasant.) HOWEVER, the location is fantastic! If you don't mind a somewhat uncomfortable sleep and you get a great deal, stay for a night and then splurge on something else for your other night(s)

Room Tip: Second or third floor would be best.

This was a good priced hotel in a very pricey town. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. This is an old hotel with nice charm. I was happy with the layout of my room. They were clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. I also used the laundry. It cost $1.50 cad for a load. I would definitely stay here again. Very close to downtown area. Also there was a Thirty Food store nearby. And a Starbucks next to the store and a post office across the Starbucks.

We met family in Victoria and they had booked into this Hotel. We booked on line and saved quite a bit over the rate they were paying. This is an older hotel but it was spacious and comfortable. They held us to the 3:00 p.m. check in but that is what is advertised. The rooms were clean and cozy and the view from our window of the Inner Harbor was a bonus. In the lobby there was a nice sitting area by the fire with comfy chairs. The hot tub was closed and is being re-purposed.

Room Tip: Ask for the Harbor side

My daughter and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. The rooms are basic with no air conditioning, but it was not needed when we stayed. It was very quiet considering we were in a city. The hotel is within walking distance to the inner harbor, Chinatown, Art Gallery, Museum and the Parliament Buildings. I felt that parking was safe and secure in the hotel underground parking lot. Several restaurants are close by. I would stay here again.

The hotel is definitely in need of a reno but I quite enjoyed my room. I stayed on the 3rd floor and had a partial view of the water. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Walking distance to the inner harbour. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: I am told that 3rd floor rooms are the only ones with air conditioner. There is no free parking at t...

This is a nice, quaint hotel fairly close to the inner harbour. Conveniently located next to the Gatsby mansion where they serve food, plus a couple other restaurants around the area too. Decently decorated and comfortable.
