Set in the harbour of the British Columbia state capital, Victoria, this is a good site for exploring both the capital and the south half of Vancouver Island. There is a lovely walk around the bay to Victoria that takes around half an hour and a water taxi can bring you back to the marina right next door to the site. Facilities are good with electric hook up and water and dump on each pitch, but beware don't hook up to City Water as the pressure in the morning can be very high and could result in water injection into the RV itself rather than the tank, best just to fill the tank and run from there. The toilet and shower facilities are a little basic and limited - we used the RV's internal facilities. Would we go again - yes we would, we loved watching the Sea Otters feeding in the bay and the Bald Eagles, Ospreys and Gray Seals - wonderful. There are a number of seasonal pitches taken up which look a little cluttered at times but the people are great.
