quite modern - lost of headline concerts; close to restaurants and hotels. the name is misleading (used to known as Memorial Arena) but that's what the owners insisted

We went to 2 events this winter at the Centre. We liked the location, as parking was affordable and there was a wide selection of restaurants available within walking distance.
The venue itself is nicely laid out and clean, but the leg room at the seat is really cramped and getting into and out of your seat is next to impossible without making your neighbors get up all the way down the VERY long Aisles! If your neighbors get soused and begin to talk loudly or drop drinks on the floor, too bad for you! Getting someone to intervene is next to impossible because of the cramped seats. Knees in the neck and loud talk were only tolerated because of the stage presentation. All in all, though it was a good show, the actual seat was a problem...and I am not a big person!

Had such a great time at the event, with friends and family! The place is clean and friendly, good security, and feel like you have space around you, seats were comfortable. Viewing was good from any direction. A good experience.

The arena is huge for Victoria standards. Plenty of rest rooms with easy access. Seating very good. Doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house.

Really? I had to dump my water that I had purchased the previous game, same day IN the arena, but did not drink, and my cup of coffee in my travel mug before entering the building. So I would have to buy new ones. They were checking bags like we were criminals trying sneak IN the royal jewels. Those who had been to the Brier in Halifax all commented on how welcome everyone felt there and they were allowed to bring lunches etc. The extra fees charged to buy tickets to events hosted there are already robbery, then to force you to buy again is just idiocy. They did not get another penny out of me and won't. Must say the bathrooms were exceptionally clean.
