We had a large group of nine (including two little children) but the restaurant handled it with no issues. Great service, great good - especially the ceviche. I would return here in a heartbeat.

This is a small place just outside the downtown Victoria area.
They have perfectly adequate breakfasts but seem to get more creative with dinner.
We had a prawn dish that featured some banana rum flavor that was very mild but melded perfectly with the other flavors.
We also tried some fish chowder.
Appetizers were tasty and reasonable portions
Especially for the price this is a fun place with good value
It's also a place that patrons enjoy, they tend to sit and relax, visiting after the meal.

The concierge of our hotel recommended the restaurant, and we're glad we chose it! The atmosphere is laid back and unpretentious. We went there twice for breakfast and one for dinner. We liked the service, but we loved the food. The menu is a fusion of North American, Thai and South American, and the cooks really know how to use their spices! We'll come back one day!

We tried Santiago based on revws and proximity to hotel. Bright, festive decor. Short bkfst menu, no substitutions, slightly latin influenced. Good hot chow, generous portions, interesting orange-chipotle holindais on eggs benny. Good service. Music was salsa alternating w raegge. Worth the try.

We went for a light snack and we're very pleased with the atmosphere and excellent black bean nachos! Definitely returning on this trip.
