“Another great stay at Evolution”
Reviewed 4 August 2011

Just returned from another great long weekend at Evolution. Staying in a two bedroom with another couple. Booked very early and got the top floor facing the pool/mountains as was requested. Beds are comfy and bathrooms are very large and clean. Carpet in main area is starting to get worn and a bit grungy looking but otherwise no complaints. Will be back. Great value in the summer.

Our last visit to Evolution was in May 2011, however we have stayed on many occasions, all seasons, at this property. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. Everything is close by and within walking distance...groceries, liquor store, restaurants. We are quite happy hanging out in Creekside rather than just the Village, and I am sure othres would enjoy as much as we have

This is a self catering hotel. With that being said, there are three properties next to eachother. This is the only one that allows dogs. We were booked in one of the properties that doesn't allow dogs, and they quickly got us in the other without any hassel. A bellman promptly met us in the parking lot to carry in bags. They brought up two highchairs and cribs within mins. of our arrival, along with a dog bed, treats and bowls, and baggies. I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste, they delivered two within mins of my call.

For self catering the staff is on the ball.

great size/ layout (we had a two bedroom)
staff are nice
across the street is a grocery store, restaurants, Starbucks
quiet (10 min drive from Whistler village)
Great place for kids/ pets
Easy access from parking lot to room
Make Self catering Easy - with all the trolleys left on P2 for when your ready to leave
Lots of TV Channels
Great Large Kitchen- , Dishwasher, Washer/ Dryer (Includes the detergents too :)

Decor - This is going to be one of those places where they say in 10 years "What were we thinking?" - Brown, Orange & Tan
Location - out of the way if you want to be in the mix of things
Have to buy Internet connection - Which was extremely slow and unreliable
No airconditioning
No Movie Rental option
Toiletries are really fruity so your place smells like the body shop
No drawers! - How could they not put drawers?

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room! Beautiful Large Patio

Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with Evolution!

In regards to the list of cons you mentioned, I thought I should just clarify a couple items, so that the next time you stay, we can make your experience more enjoyable. Regarding the internet, we do provide complimentary wireless internet, so please feel free to contact guest services next time you're staying with us and we'll ensure you are connected properly to our complimentary service. As for air conditioning, there is AC in all rooms, so this is also something we can have a team member assist you with should you have any troubles with AC in your suite next time. Lastly, although we do no have the option for movie rentals in suite, we do offer two nightly movie viewings in our media room off the lobby. The earlier viewing is usally best suited for families.

We look forward to an opportunity of welcoming you back and ensuring we take care of any of the cons we can upon your next stay.

My family and I stayed for one night at their 2 bedroom Suite and it was fantastic! We were very impressed with the layout, the furniture, the appliances, the tub etc they offer. The suite was in perfect condition and the size was more than enough for 6 of us. We used their kitchen for a gourmet dinner and it was fun and comfortable. We also appreciate the service they provided. All of their staff were very friendly and helpful. You do not check in at Evolution but at the Legend Hotel next door. It was easy, efficient and relaxing. We also used their pool, hot tub, steam, sauna and the gym. All were well equipped and we have no complaint at all. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone I know. Will definitely go back again.

We stayed at Evolution at Whistler Creek side and was very happy with our accomodations. Recently updated with S/S Miele appliances, our 1 bedroom was perfect for our family of 4. Creek side is quiet which is nice. Only a short drive to the main village. The kids loved the pool which also had 2 hot tubs. A game room with a media room was a nice touch. Great value being it is located in Creek side. Would stay again.

Just Stayed there on the july long weekend, the property is pretty much new. Very clean, the pool area was great. It had it all: 2 hut tubs, and a heated pool, sauna and a steam room. The best part it has a nice big bbq and pato set up all by the pool area!
The game room was great for us for some fun time, and also has a good size media room.
We got the 2 bedroom suite, it had everything you need. really comfortable beds and nice size balcony.
Kym at front desk was a great at check in, very helpful and nice!

This spot is perfect for multi-day get aways in Whistler. We stayed here in the winter and then again this week (June). It's accessible to all the amenities, ski in and ski out in the winter, and it's even closer than Whistler Village so you arrive sooner from Vancouver.

If you really love the vibe of the village you will feel a little out of it here but we appreciated the calm and peacefulness - yet accessibility of everything here.

The rooms are very spacious. You could comfortably have 6 people in a room and not feel like you're on top of each other. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you need for all your meals if you want to cook in, and there is a huge gorgeous BBQ area with a fireplace outside for the BBQing folks.

Kids love the pool, and adults love the hot tub and sauna.

Even the gym in this facility is excellent. Only complaint - if it is eve one - is there is no room service available as the lobby for the hotel isn't in this building.
