Dinners are good with consistent food and service, but breakfasts can be mayhem with too many people and food running low. Avoid unless you have plenty of time to spare.

Lovely view from the dining hall. The staff is helpful and the breakfast spread offers a wide choice.

I have eaten in this restaurant before and I find it generally good food with some highs and lows but generally inadequate service.

We arrived for our reservation on time and there were 6 people handling the seating of about one table every 5 minutes but the whole restaurant had only one waiter and eventually 2 for about 30-40 tables. Service was therefore slow.

Our waiter was really trying hard but had just way too much to do for one person. Delivery of the food was done sometimes by others.

Honestly I expected a better class of service for this high end restaurant.

The food was good generally. The seafood chowder is a meal and the fish is properly cooked. Desserts are very nice and their vanilla ice cream a real treat.

However on the down side the Caesar salad is a whole leaf salad and generally the lettuce chosen was too coarse for that. Also the prime rib was disappointing. It was small being less than 1/2” thick after I had received a better opinion of its size when ordering. It was properly cooked as I requested but the playing was not appealing.

They to stop the party at the front desk and get the service at the tables.

Fair mint is wonderful hotel and I know they will fix this but I was disappointed.
