Played with my husband early July. Course was in very good condition. Loved the fact that it is easily walkable. Loved the surrounding trees. What really prompted me to write review is very helpful staff, with special thanks to Paul (Shimmy) for his wonderfully warm welcome & ensuing personalised attention. Thank you, Paul (Shimmy).

Played last Saturday.
Despite the fact that the course is in great shape, it took way too long to play...almost 5hours..
Course times need to be managed better!

Thank you for review. Pace of play is a focus of ours as we shoot for 4:15. We did get to 4:50 that day and we apologize for that. We are at 10 minute tee time intervals- we simply had numerous challnge groups and looking back should have been more aggressive with them. Thanks for the feedback on course conditioning and we lok forward to seeing you back in Whistler.

Played Whistler Golf Course many years ago and didn't remember anything special. Decided to play with my son (as the course offers special rates for BC residents/juniors). We loved the course...it was challenging and we enjoyed ourselves. It is basically flat, but the views are great and the course condition was much more than I remember. The greens and entire course is very well maintained, with lots of mature trees and interesting hazards. It is not as spectacular as Nicklaus North (which I feel is the best course in Whistler), but considering the much lower green fee, it is an excellent value. Really glad we played this course and will definitely be back!

No comparison to Niklaus North or Chateau Whistler course. Appears to get heavy play and the
pace of play was very slow. Average to poor condition and marginal greens. An easy course to walk and that is what I did the second time we played it, since we were waiting on every shot
throughout the round. Single digit handicaps would not enjoy the course or the time it take to play it.

Can you send me a direct message and let me know your date of play? We just had the USGA here and their feedback was that we have some of the best greens they've seen this year. We installed new bent grass greens in 2012 and had some challenges with bad weather so my guess is you may have played in 2012. 87% of our guests have rated our greens as excellent. Pace of play is on us. Sorry our staff didn't do their job that day. As far as the course being easy- I'm glad you shot 65!!
Thanks for the review and thanks for playing us.
