Owner description: Mountain Golf at it's finest. Carved out of the slopes of the Coast Mountain range in British Columbia, this magnificent Whistler golf course allows nature to dictate the path without constraints of commercial influence. Traversing creeks, ponds, and granite rock, elevation changes of more than 400 feet overall create an impressive golf opportunity. Naturally spectacular BC resort golf.

“rolling hills and stunning views, best in Whistler”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

Its beautiful with wide fairways rolling hills and many dog legs. Excellent BC course. Club house is very small, but this course is all about golf. Coffee in the bear hut in between 6th and 15th.

“Spectacular but tough”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

Lovely golf course with amazing views and changes in elevation. The course is rating highly, as it should be, play the correct tee deck for you game, based on the slope, as it plays MUCH longer than the yardage due to the elevation changes, especially on the first 12 holes. bring a camera!!

“Great course”
Reviewed 16 October 2013

This is a top notch course. It is in fabulous shape. Course is not for beginners as you will lose quite a few balls. Might even see a bear or two while playing. Pretty expensive though at about $150.

“Fantastic *experience*”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

Visited with my fiancee for some golf later in the day, and wow were we impressed. A few notes:

* The experience was far and away the best part - valet parking, they asked if they could discard of the trash (drink cups) in the car, full club service, they even cleaned our clubs after the round.
* The course is fantastic. We were beginners so probably uniquely challenged, but found it fun, reasonably well-maintained.
* The scenery was incredible. BC golfing is sometimes just stunningly beautiful (see also: The Rise, Furry Creek).
* I always like seeing a little wildlife when golfing and the Fairmont did not disappoint - deer, not bears though (thankfully).
* We bought a package that included dinner, and the food was also very good - ribeye steak cooked perfectly, prawns, sides and even apple pie for desert. Great value and a great way to end the round.

Overall, the golf was very good but the experience was out of this world. In the 4 months since starting golfing I have played 30 rounds at around 20 courses, and this experience was by far the best. Thank-you, Fairmont, for kicking off our Whistler stay with a great day!
