“the whole experience is amazing`”
Reviewed 2 January 2010

Everything was perfict and well organized by all that was involved.
The whole resort has all the small stuff taken care of from perfect temp hot tubs to great food in all restaurants to the edge pass. I clearly see why this is the best ski resort in the world. I challenge you to find something bad and if you do it will be taken care of properly.
Prices were not over the top and they even have a food store with great five dollar sandwiches if thats all you want, Ciccas restaurant was great to my wife and my son. The Irish pub was great. Even Gordon Ramsy's Araxies was casually inviting, The chefs did a great job at all places we went to and the service was excellent as well except at blacks pub a little over priced for drinks and slow service. Not the end of the world though at Blacks pup it was like a slow lounge
from the seventies but needs to upgrade glass ware and make you feel like you are blowen away with the weird bar beverage mix that costs 12.95 a drink. We did bar hop one night just to experience all the village has to offer and overall it was one of the best service experiences of my life. The Pan Pacific is the location to stay and our only mistake was we should have ate more at our hotel Irish Pub. But not enough time.
Congrats to all levels of management and staff in all facilities for a christmas and new years well enjoyed, I am quite positive you will all get the job done for 2010 olyimpics and beyond

Thanks
C Corns

This was a great hotel(as long as you can look after yourself for food and drink etc). I say this because there is no hotel restaurant but very helpful staff behind the reception. We ate out most nights and had breakfast in the room as there are basic cooking facilities. this saved a fortune.

We paid £76($121) a night through Canadian affairs which got us a studio suite with a bed that folded down from wall and a small sofa bed, small balcony fire place. table and chairs. plenty of storage space. lovely bathroom small kitchennette with cooker/job. fridge freezer with ice cubes in. dishwasher etc.

The Air Con was great which was needed when it was 36C. One small complaint is that the old TV in the cabinet can't be seen from the bed which was annoying.

Outside was great swimming pool with 2 outdoor jacuzzis.(inside there is a running machine and steam room shower etc which is great) There are also washers and dryers available so you can wash clothes and avoid having to pack so much. They are also a tenth of the price of the laundry costs and you can go for a swim whilst you wait for them to finish.

I can't imagine a better location for the winter season as you are 10m from lifts. secure parking and secure storage for bikes skis snowboards etc. fantastic location. Although it is about 3 times the price!!

Also Free WIFI is available.

Having made several weekend trips to Whistler, the Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside has always been our favourite place to stay.

This trip, we booked a studio room with a valley view, and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a 1-bedroom (Valley view) on the top floor. The hotel rooms are very beautifully done, and we especially enjoyed the gas-fireplace. We enjoyed using the hot tubs and sauna!

We will be returning againt!

Only great things to say about this hotel. Every part of my stay was fantastic.
Free wireless, year round outdoor heated pool and hot tubs and the best location in the village. I will be back!

I highly recommend staying in this hotel, the staff were helpful & very friendly. Planned on staying for 3 nights & ended up booking extra night. We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite on the 4th floor, it was over looking the Mountain, everything about it was Plush...!! Excellent location in Whistler & stone throw from Blackcomb Gondala.

The hotel has a great location, nice pool and sauna... We had a two bedrooms apartment with a great view and it was just Perfect. It was clean, welcoming and felt like our own home. However, it got so noisy during the night, that my parents could not sleep.

I sleep thight so it did not bothered me... But with all reviews that I read about noise at this location I had decided not to stay there... and booked at the Village Center location but their pool did not work...

Also, I got charge for my parking even if I took advantage of a package which included parking...

We had a great stay at this hotel. Whistler is beautiful in the summer. We got a two bedroom suite, with kitchenette, for 4 adults, 2 kids, and a newborn. They provided us with a crib, complete with basic baby toiletries. Breakfast was included in our package. Although there was no hot food, there was plenty of choices to keep us all happy. We also visited the outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Very kid friendly, with lots of floaty things to play with. We were the only ones at the pool, so we weren't too worried about making too much noise.
