“Husband's Five-Day Birthday Getaway”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

This was our second stay at the facility and, yet again, everything was thoroughly accommodating. The front desk staff were courteous and knowledgeable, and the housekeeping service was prompt, efficient and meticulous. We partook daily of the continental breakfasts, which should really be deemed a buffet when considering the many choices. The rooms were immaculate as well. The cupboards were supplied with all necessary kitchen utensils and any missing items were quickly provided. The queen-sized bed was cozy, We appreciated that not only was there a sofa in the room but also that additional bedding was stocked. This bodes well in case we decide to bring guests next time. We particularly enjoyed the quiet and seclusion of the room. We have raved to our family and friends about the facility and highly recommend it.

Room Tip: I believe that many, if not all, of the room are secluded.

Lovely surrounding, very comfortable bed The view over looking the pool was lovely. We had Blue Jay eating nuts from the balcony. . The free bus service into the village was excellent.
We could not have picked a nicer place to stay for our 54th Anniversary.

Room Tip: Over looking the pool was very nice

Only stayed one night after an excellent day at The Beer Fest.
Excellent rate, excellent room, and an excellent free breakfast.
Will be back for sure. { Beer Fest and Hotel }
You are close to Whistler Village but far enough away to feel
"secluded".

Room Tip: Room 407 very quiet and private.

In my opinion very good value for the money. 27 of us were in Whistler for a weeks hiking. The hotel was pre booked and I had not been to this hotel before, some of our group had. We had two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other had two singles, there were three in our little party. Two very nice bathrooms, a kitchen which was fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes, microwave, full size stove, full size fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker pretty well everything one needs. Nice living room with a large deck, a fireplace and T.V. The staff are friendly, and clean up every day and change towels etc. Lovely gardens with two large bookable BBQs, but I think they don't get used much so booking them is probably not an issue. Nice big swimming pool, not deep enough for diving but great for kids. Two big hot tubs which are in use from 10 to 10. We were situated on the 6th floor above the pool, and have to add that noise was not an issue, but I suppose that when the season is in full swing it could be noisy, although I don't think so, because of all the trees and shrubs would absorb a lot of noise. The hotel itself is a five minute walk to the main village, but a ten minute or more walk back. The free bus system is amazing, so walk downtown and bus back. The included breakfast is not a cooked one, although they have two really nice waffle makers, all kinds of breads, bagels, muffins, cereals, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogourts, three different toasters. The hotel has coffee and tea anytime one wants in the lobby, and if your in luck they also have big cookies on the front desk. I have to say that I really enjoyed my stay here and would certainly go back again, very family friendly, well located and affordable.

This was our first time at Whistler and we had booked through the Whistler Tourism Site. The representative had recommended for us to use this hotel for our visit. When we got there we thought that this place looks to be way out of our price range, but the price was very reasonable - that could be since it wasn't ski season. The staff were friendly, the room we had was very nice and it was quiet. The included breakfasts were very good and added to the value. The breakfast area was spacious and there was lots of choice. The location at the edge of the village was not an issue for walking, as there are free buses for guests and this hotel backs on to the ski hill so we could walk out the back entrance and down the hill to the village in only 5 minutes. Parking in the hotel underground parking costs extra like all the hotels in the village but we could park for free in the village parking lots and use the buses and walking to get around. We came to Whistler to walk and hike in the area, so this just added to the experience. We would certainly stay here again.

Good value for your money. Nice, spacious suite with cooking facilities, well equipped and comfortable. Not fussy for the location, although is was quite. Reasonably priced and a short drive to the town centre.

I found an excellent deal online which the reservation people matched and I'm glad I did because if I had paid full price I would have been bummed. The room we had normally goes (in Sept.) for $153+tax+parking so my guess is about $200. We've stayed at many places that were far less than that with larger rooms, AC, free parking, and better breakfasts. It was 84* the day we were in Whistler and without AC, our room was quite stuffy and warm even with the fan they provided. The breakfast was nothing special. We stayed at the Coast Fraser Inn in Williams Lake the night before and their breakfast was far better as was the room and it had a nice view. Also, when you make your reservation there will be no mention of the parking fee ($19+tax for us but more I think during ski season) until you get a confirmation email which says there's a parking fee but doesn't say how much. Speaking of parking...it's a parking garage and good luck to you if you have a large vehicle. Bring a shoehorn. We have a small SUV and it was a bit of a struggle to fit into a parking space. We slept well, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the shower was very good. But when you pay for a more upscale place, it's the little things that make a difference and the little things were lacking here.
