Stayed in a studio, great room - with a fireplace, queen size bed and kitchen. Hotel location is great - ski in and out, and close to village, it is in walking distance into the center of the village. Staff was very friendly and helpful regardless of the request or question.
Morning breakfast are great and very satisfactory fruit, yogurt, oats muffins, waffles...great assortment and plentiful.

If you like to sleep on firm bed, you may have issue as they are very soft. Also WiFi was spotty, I was getting disconnected and reconnected very often. I think the strongest signal was actually in the lobby.

We had such a good time staying here at this ski-in, ski-out. Excellent ski hire facility located within the hotel, then a 20 metre walk onto the piste! All the staff we interacted with were so friendly and helpful. Terrific view from our room which faced Whistler mountain. The size of our twin bedroom suite was by far the best though, with twin bathrooms. We felt at home and had room to move and could relax after our day of skiing. $2 dollar washers & dryers were available which came in handy for our two week stay. We made use of the shuttle bus to take us into town (which could get a little ordinary around 4 - 5 o'clock in the afternoon). All said and done though, we're planning on staying again because it was so nice.

We went as a group of 8 people staying in 4 of the 2 bedroom suites, they were very warm, comfy and homely, they were kept clean every day and the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Would reccomend this hotel to anyone, with a phone call and a few simple sales skills we managed to get the flights and accomodation for £1200 pp with ski pass included which was very good in my opinion. Hot tub was lovely and warm, rather overcrowded in the late afternoon but easilly avoidable by going early afternoon or late in the evening. Only downside to the hotel is the ski hire was much more expensive than anticipated, but i suppose you pay for the convenience of having it downstairs. I would reccomend finding the cheapest place in Whistler so save yourself some money. The bus ride to whistler was very quick and they were very frequent, you normally only have to wait 5-10 minutes. Best part of the hotel is the Ski in, Ski out, it was literally a 10m walk from the boot room which was fantastic, then a short ski down to the Wizard Express gondola. I would reccomend this resort + hotel to absolutely anyone. A quick note to anyone going with beginners, blue trails can vary from anything (european piste rating) from an easy blue to a hard red, so a few times we found ourselves on a steep slope with beginners finding it quite hard so be wary of which blues you are taking. Fresh tracks is also a must.

Ok so after 17 nights at this hotel from the 3rd of January to the 17th. We love the Coast. Our second trip here, the ski in ski out is the best, the rooms comfortable and well serviced. The hot tubs at the end of the day are crowded but if you go later at night then no problems. The Coast could really do with a bar and restaurant for people that just can't face the bus ride after a full day on the mountain. If I was asked would I stay here again? then it is a yes from me. Thanks Coast for another great time.

Room Tip: Ask for a Forest View room if you like a quiet night. Also there is a window that opens as the rooms...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom slope-side apartment on the 5th level with our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The apartment was clean and spacious with 2 bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the pool and hot tubs and also the ski slope at the rear of the hotel. We really loved this outlook and were glad we paid the extra charge for this. My only issue with the room was that the sofa was not very comfortable to sit on (it was a sofa bed)

Good ski-in, ski-out location on the mountain and very handy rental shop on site, with ski valet. The valet would store skis overnight, however other all equipment needed to be taken up to the apartment at the end of each day.

Loved the pool and hot tubs (despite not thinking we would...). They were sometimes crowded, but there is something really nice about soaking in those hot-tubs after a day on the slopes, with snow in the trees (and even when it is snowing!)

We had a coin operated laundry on our floor which was fabulous - we never had a problem getting either a washer or dryer and they were inexpensive (around $2 per load from memory...).

Some other reviewers have mentioned the lifts being slow - we did not find this at all during our week long stay.

Breakfast was OK (although not very exciting...).

A good choice if you are looking for ski in-ski out. If you want to be close to the shops and restaurants, you would probably be better in town (however the shuttle between town and the hotel is pretty reliable).

We've stayed in the village a number of times but decided to try something new and I'm glad we did. True ski-in ski-out location on the lower slopes of Blackcomb. Ski rentals on site if you need it. Lobby and room were very clean and attractive. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses silverware, etc. No restaurant, but easy access to village via shuttle buses which ran about every 10 to 15 minutes and were very reliable. About 5 minute ride to village, dropping off near the Pan Pacific. The breakfast buffet (no added cost) was very good. Fresh made waffles, oatmeal, cereal, etc. If you must have eggs and sausage every morning you may be disappointed, but I think the breakfast was perfect before hitting the slopes. WiFi was a little spotty in the room but worked well in lobby. That's my only (rather minor) complaint. Will likely stay there again.

I think this hotel is a bit over priced for its room size and service. Room is clean, with fireplace, nice but small balcony, bed comfort is so-so, front service is slow, breakfast area is disorganised and crowded, but the muffins are very good though. Pools are nice, like it.
