The hotel location was ideal for a ski-in/ski-out weekend. The room was very comfortable with kitchen table, oven, microwave, fridge, and small balcony. Ski rentals on site - get your gear the day before to avoid the morning chaos.

good value for space- there were 2 of us and we had a 1 bedroom. lots of families. good breakfast. very helpful front desk. the #5 free bus however, is over crowded and does not run on schedule. easy to walk down to blackcomb base area, but tough to walk up in the snow.

Had 10 days at Coast Blackcomb suites. Studio room plenty big enough for 2, lots of storage available. Skis stored downstairs but unlike most European ski resorts, boots worn back to room. Rooms at front can be affected by street noise, mainly if window is left open overnight as ours was. Hotel happy to change us to one at the back, no noise.
Housekeeping I can't praise highly enough, everything kept immaculate especially the bedroom. They are a friendly team as well, as are most of the staff. Breakfast as previously noted can be busy but on those occasions can be taken to your room. hotel is right on the slopes which is more advantageous than being closer to town.
So much snow before & during our stay, enjoyed both mountains. More courteous than Europe, and cheaper to eat as well. Hoping to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It is located slope-side on Blackcomb mountain and it is a ski in and out hotel. The bottom of the slope is the Wizard Express. Super convenient and fun for skiers! The hotel is a short drive (less than 5 mins?) from the main village. We thought the location was PERFECT. Breakfast was good...definitely wished they had more protein items but the yummy waffles made up for it! :) Also, complimentary tea and coffee 24 hours! They also provided us with all the utensils, pots and kettles in the kitchen. We cooked a few meals during our stay. They had two hot tubs and it was not crowded at all. One thing they really had to improve on was the wifi...we ended up using our phone data during our stay because it was impossible to stay connected on the hotel's wifi. But overall, excellent stay!

We've stayed twice now at this hotel and really enjoyed both times! We also have two little kids and they were very accommodating...having two separate hot tubs is a bonus and free breakfast is very convenient, and the kitchen is well stocked ! It is about 10min out of the village but the free shuttle makes it easy to get there and back with really no hassle. and it runs every ten minutes so you're never waiting long at all. was actually kind of nice not be admits the noisy ness of the village, peaceful. Plus you can then easily visit both upper village and lower at your convenience. Great place and would stay again!

Room Tip: we booked the one bedroom for privacy with the kids.

I stayed here for 2 weeks during the ski season and the hotel was wonderful.

The location is excellently placed a little way up Blackcomb mountain, perfect for ski in and ski out.

Whistler is only a 5 min shuttle bus away, but can be a little annoying if you plan to visit the village centre every night.

If or when I return to whistler I will probably get a hotel in Whistler Village, close to the Whistler gondola.

Breakfast is excellent and can be taken to your room (recommended during busy periods).

Tea and coffee is available from the lobby any time of day.

Hot tubs and pool are lovely.

The rooms were really hot at night. A fan is supplied, but I still needed to leave a window open through the night.

Bathrooms were clean and come stocked with lots of toiletries.

My only real issue was the wi-fi. I was on the 6th floor and the Internet was continuously dropping out. Every 5 mins on average.

Beds were comfortable. TV channels were plentiful and the staff were always willing to assist.

Would highly recommend and happily stay here again.

This is supposed to be ex-Marriott! Must have been a very long time ago and is now like a YMCA facility. Very worn, very tired and certainly not 4 star!! Anything like. I'd pay the extra and go Fairmont if I were you. No Wi-fi either unlike as advertised. Terrible mistake booking here. Don't say you weren't warned!
