Best location. 1 minute walking distance to the slopes. Right next to all the shops and all apres bars and pubs. Free ski valet. Free WiFi. Great staff. Our friends that were at the Westin saw our place and want to stay at the Crystal Lodge next year!

Fantastic location, great for families, studio room offered a proper amount of room to feel more than comfortable. Mini kitchen made breakfast a snap and got us out the door in plenty of time to ski!!

The best part is your easy access to everything on both mountains. Strong value but the rooms will not blow you away. They were just average at best but met my expectation based on the price. Rooms could be a little cleaner.

Ask about room upgrades and if larger rooms are available, take them. The King deluxe is a great size for a couple. proximity to lifts, in the Village and walking distance to everything Whistler is the Lodges appeal...plus excellent and friendly staff. Courtesy hot toddies in reception at days end is a lovely gesture. In our view and on 4th visit, this hotel is hard to beat and we have no complaints

Unbeatable location with comfortable Lobby - fireplace and fruit-infused water a bonus.
The (very warm) outdoor pool and spa was a winner not repeated at Fairmont Hotels (Lake Louise and Banff) stayed at after leaving Whistler.
Well fitted-out kitchen was well utilized.
Only negative was the noise of drunken yobs in main square well after 2am - hardly the Hotels fault.
Overall well worth returning to.

I am pleased to read that you and your family had a wonderful experience here in Whistler and at the Crystal Lodge. Our fruit infused water as well as après ski cider or hot chocolate are very popular with our regular guests. I am sorry to hear that you were disrupted on occasion by 'yobs' (antithesis of what a good boy should be; rude, obnoxious, violent and stupid - for those of you that do not know the expression). We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future.
Kind regards,

Ian Lowe

Gillian, thank you very much for your recent review of the Crystal Lodge. I would like to clarify that our Traditional x2 Double rooms are equipped with x2 beds that in North America are referred to as 'Double sized' (54 in × 75 in / 137 cm × 191 cm). This same size are also known as standard or full sized in other countries. I hope this helps other readers understand the size of our 'Double' beds.

Ian Lowe
