The hotel was in prime location, no better than that. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly and helpful. My family can't wait to go back, the kids liked the proximity of good restaurants and the playroom.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Crystal Lodge for 5 nights at the beginning of April 2014.

The room was small but that's just because we had a massive king size bed which was so lovely to sleep on, some mornings we didn't want to get out of the bed it was so comfortable.

The location was ideal for us because we were so close to both lifts up to both mountains, it was fantastic!

Ali, we are pleased that you and your boyfriend enjoyed yourselves for your 5 night trip to Whistler. The 150m walk to either Whistler or Blackcomb mountain certainly makes it easy to get up the lifts in the morning (even if you treat yourself to a relaxing sleep-in!).

Kind regards,
Ian Lowe

We stayed in this hotel for two nights as a result of a groupon. We have travelled and stayed in Whistler many times however I have never used this hotel and I never will again. We had our inlaws stay with us in the same room and it was tiny for four adults. The air conditioner was so noisy that it kepy my mother in law awake, so we couldn't keep it on. It was warm in September so we tried opening the window however that went into the village and all it did was echo. You could hear a quiet conversation happening like they were right beside you. The Hot tub and pool were very nice. We will never stay here again... and unfortunately it made our in laws experience of Whistler one which they would rather not repeat

Room Tip: nothing that goes out onto the village unless you are someone who likes to stay out most the night

Thank you for taking the time to provide your insightful feedback of your stay from September 2013. It is unfortunate that our team were not able to assist in moving you and your family into a room with a functioning air conditioner unit as it seems this was the root of the challenge. 50% of our rooms face away from the village stroll and as much as these do not offer the vibrant 'people watching' that the stroll-side rooms provide, they are much more protected from the ambient pedestrian-only village noises. We are also pleased to announce that starting this spring we will be replacing all our windows within the south wing that will significantly reduce the sound transfer into these hotel rooms.

Thank you again for your feedback,
Ian Lowe

My boyfriend and I stayed the night here over the Easter Weekend and I was very happy with my experience. We stayed in a traditional king room and found everything to our liking. The only thing we had an issue with was that the shower temperature was either really hot or cold not much of an in between. Other than that very enjoyable. The games room was available for most of the day and we signed out some equipment and played some table tennis and fooseball. If given the choice we would stay here again for sure. It was very conveniently located and we were only a short distance away from the weekends festivities.

we had a studio, with a kingsize bed and pull-out love seat. It would have been crowded with 4 people, but was perfect for the two of us. Kitchenette included toaster; best used in bathroom with fan on to avoid setting off the smoke alarm

Sally, thank you for your recent review of the Deluxe King Studio. Should you be returning to the area as a group of 4 I would recommend our Deluxe Queen Queen Studio that offers all the same amenities as the room you stayed in but also a second queen bed and larger floor plan (as well as a queen sofabed). We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future.

Ian Lowe

This was my second stay at this property. I asked for and was provided a room on the quiet side and was so quiet! Had a balcony but unable to use due to the consistent snowfall which was pretty fantastic for the time I was there! Great location, close to the ski lifts. Ski valet great service. Friendly staff. Most definitely would stay again... on the quiet side. I didn't use the hot tub facilities.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the quiet side.

Leah, thank you for taking the time to provide us with your review following your winter ski vacation from earlier this year. I am pleased that our personalized ski valet service was one of your highlights and that mother nature also did her part by bringing you fantastic snow conditions. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future.

This was the best Hotel we have ever stayed in. We have traveled a lot - UK, Europe, Australia, USA and Canada and this was our #1. The staff, the lodge, the food, the location (wow!) was amazing! I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat. We were traveling with two children and two other families. Amazing hotel and the staff are obviously happy with their job and it reflects in their attitude to their work. Everyone we encountered went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. This is a MUST DO hotel!
