“Not worth the money”
Reviewed 13 August 2014 via mobile

We stayed in a loft room. The room was not properly cleaned (half empty bottles in the fridge). In the bathroom i (as a man) saw that the tissue box cover was full of dust (i dont want to imagine how it looks above the cabinets....). The balcony door could only be opened with a lot of power. We wanted to use the safe in the room. As there was no manual on how to use it i went down to the front desk. A men, responsible for the maintenance come to the room and told me than that this safe is out of order.
The hairdryer was not working either.
My impression of this hotel is that it is in a bad shape and not well maintained. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The manager Joe was very helpful with identifying which type of room we needed. The check in staff was efficient when we were checking in. Amenities wise it does have what you would need for basic cooking. A couple of things weren't functioning properly. Oven did not heat up to 350 the whole 20mins we left the salmon in there. The kettle has rust inside we never used it. The most discouraging incident happened on Aug 3rd with night attendent. We had called to ask for coffee to be replaced as they were not, he reluctantly asked if we needed them that night. When we replied yea he said fine will be there. Once arrived at our door, he almost scolded us for having do not disturb sign on door as per instructions by check in attended for roomswith pets. While the other attendants at property checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, this particular individual told us we may not have 2 packages of coffees as he would then have to walk over again. His attitude was most troubling of the incident. Overall impression and experience was positive other than the malfunctioning appliances and that one night attendant. My advice would be to make sure a/c vents are point straight up towards the loft bedroom orelse the upstairs can feel like a oven.

We stayed at the property for 2 nights, in a loft suite. The room was clean and close to everything. The only negative I could say about the property, is that there were stains on the ceiling from a water leak at one time and that a renovation (fresh paint) is probably due.

Great money for value, plenty of room and ideal location, easy access to all attractions and the staff where very helpful with local knowledge, best attractions. Parking was easy and late checkout perfect. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to everyone looking for a good family hotel with plenty of room and great location for active families.

Great and clean room. The only thing that was a little off was the angle of the bathroom door. The kitchenette had everything we needed. This was a fortunate thing because we could not find many vegan options for my husband. We ended up getting groceries and making our own meals.

Room Tip: We got an excellent deal during the off-season.

This is a convenient hotel in a centralized location. We stayed at this property mainly because they allowed dogs ($25/night and includes dishes and dog bed). The staff went above and beyond - which really surprised us. Super friendly and helpful, brought ice to our room (no machines in hotel), and always gracious when we needed to drop off/pick up our bikes. Parking is expensive (like most hotels in Whistler) so we parked in Lot 4 which is free and biked everywhere. We had a loft-style room which was renovated yet it is small. It's perfect if you dont plan on spending much time there. Overall, we were happy with the experience and would recommend this hotel in the summer, especially if you have pets.

The location couldn't be much more centrally located in the village. It was pretty busy the day we checked in, and there was only one receptionist. she was dealing with a difficult customer, which took her longer than what it normally would to process a check-in so it was a bit annoying. Saying that it was out of her control. The room was nice and newly upgraded, but the bathroom was tiny and awkward. I honestly have no idea how someone of a larger build would be able to close the bathroom door or be able to even get into the bathroom. It was very odd. So that and the loud trucks that are bound to wake you, as they make their morning deliveries are the 2 real down faults. In all a great room for the price we paid.
