The good news: each room has a kitchen nook with oven, microwavw and refrigerator, a two person Jacuzzi tub and a small balcony.
The bad news: It's all in a very small room.
So, if your idea of a ski vacation is entertaining in our room and occasionally venturing out for more booze, this is not for you but if your idea of a ski vacation is ski all day and come back to your room for an exquisite hot bath and an occasional home cooked meal to save a few bucks, this is the place. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the slopes, so if yo're carrying skis, you may want to take the free shuttle bus that stops about 100 ft from the hotel. We rented skis from the Carlton Lodge which is adjacent to the lifts and allows you to store skis free.

Room Tip: If you rent skis, don't rent at the hotel because you'll have to carry your skis to the slop...

Dear DowntownAby,

Thank you so much for your review. I'm sorry to hear the size of the was not to your liking but as you mentioned, it does supply more than a typical room. Allowing our guests to relax in their in room Jacuzzi and the option to make a meal at "home" as it were.

Sincerely,

Was here skiing in late November and stayed here. Wonderful hotel, loved the jacuzzi in the room and the fireplace, very cosy. the front desk staff could not have been more helpful and pointed up in all the right directions. Teh fill ski area was not open but we had plently of runs to do between Whistler and Blackcolm. Enjoyed our ski vacation here and looking forward to our Caribbean trip too in a couple of weeks :-)

My daughter chose the Whistler Pinnacle Hotel for our family and friends to stay in over the Christmas holidays.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and always greeted you with a smile. Our rooms were clean, warm and inviting, with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
The hotel is perfectly located, and an easy walk to the upper village as well as down to the ice skating and IGA..
We would not hesitate to go back to the Whistler Pinnacle Hotel.
Overall I give the hotel 10 out of 10
It's a great place to stay

Room Tip: We had room 202. It had one bed in it as well as a sofa bed, a large covered verandah and plenty of...

The team here is always ready to help - Sonya (the Front Office Manager) is personable and helpful and Patrick went out of his way to ensure his guests had an outstanding stay. It is a pleasure to see a team that has such a panache for customer service.

Stayed here for 9 nights, room was a good size with great views.Hotel is well kept and clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the gondolas although its a good warm up before a days skiing. The ski storage room could do with a few benches to sit on whilst you put on your boots as its a bit tricky and your risk banging your head on the ski racks if not careful.I would use the hotel again however for whistler in general a few things need addressing,The roads are cleared of snow around 530am( does 2cm of snow really need shifting this early?) in the morning so not the most relaxing sleep and also large groups of drunken revellers walking past hotel in the early hours again seems to becoming a problem all over whistler.

Dear adamadi,

Thank you for your review...

We had another 20cm's last night and 58cm's in the last 7 days! A total of 425cm's has fallen since season open. I'm sorry the snow plow woke you up too early! ;)

Arrived for my first time in Whistler, was greeted by a friendly front desk person. Upgraded to a deluxe suite facing the village and Blackcomb Mtn. Room was clean and had a full kitchen, gas fireplace and 2 person jacuzzi. Walk to lifts was 5 minutes away thru the village. Every time I walked in I was greeted with a warm smiling face asking me how my day on the slopes was. Since I was traveling alone I didn't want to sit alone at restaurants the front desk guided me to the local grocery store as well as take out places. Thank-you for making my first stay an easy transition.

When price, location and amenities are weighted, The Pinnacle is an excellent choice. I spent a couple of days at the end of November for a bit of a "staycation". The property is older (early ’90s‚ but is well-maintained.

The in-room double jacuzzi was spacious enough for a well-padded couple to enjoy and the fireplace made the brisk nights very cozy. Our room was on the "road" side of the hotel which was much quieter than a room facing the village.

Recommended.
