This hotel is a fabulous find for those of us traveling with our beloved pet/s. Rooms were tastefully decorated (we even purchased the throw) and well equipped, centrally located but quiet. Thank you for providing such a lovely relaxing experience.

Room Tip: Rooms on the pool side are quieter

This was just a wonderful place to stay! The staff was more than helpful they treated us like family. They went out of their way to help make our stay special. They knew the whistler area. They were more than helpful booking tours and recommending places to eat.You can ride a bike for free for a hour. They were very helpful. Rooms were a little small but so clean.if you need a place to relax this hotel is the place. You will feel well taken care of by this great hotel staff !!!!

Our first room, #218 had stale dog odour, so we asked to desk staff to do something about it. When we returned to our room, the canine smell was less apparent, but still discernible. Furthermore, in the room there was a very loud hum from the various neighbours' A/C units. I asked the young receptionist if she could give us a different room and she obliged with #210. The A/C noise was not as loud as in #218, but still apparent. The hotel brochure states that small dogs are accommodated on the 2nd floor only. This is a blatant lie; we saw quite large dogs there and one couple had a dog on the 4th floor. If you want to avoid dog odour, simply go to a hotel which bans dogs. It' s easier than playing dog and A/C lotto at the Summit. Incidentally, the beds really are soft and badly need an upgrade, as other reviewers have mentioned here on TA.

Room Tip: Avoid this hotel if you don't like dog odour and loud A/C noise around you.

Thank you for the review. I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. We make every strong effort to ensure that dogs are kept on the 2nd floor. And in the rare case that they are not we ensure that the room gets a deep clean upon departure. We most definitely are a pet friendly hotel and if you do not like dogs then we do agree with this reviewer and say that this hotel probably is not for you.

Nice modern hotel, rooms were well equipped, clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable, and had a nice outlook. Hotel had good amenities and spa was very relaxing.
Staff were very helpful with parking our oversized vehicle.
Very centrally located yet quiet.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. Love the fact that there is a full kitchen in the room. Bedroom is good enough size with great bedding. The bathroom is very small though. Friendly staff at front desk but hard to understand with her very heavy French accent. Free coffee in the morning. Complimentary bikes for an hour (which we unfortunately didn't have time for to use). Offered plate service for Breakfast in the restaurant was not our thing so we did our own thing. Parking in the parking garage is to expensive to our opinion! ($20 for 1 night) so we parked at the free overnight parking lot instead.

We have stayed here over 8 times (usually three night minimum) and at different times of the year since it opened. It is my favorite place to stay because, for the price point :
a) they allow well behaved dogs and I like to travel with my two corgis--the staff really does seem to like the dogs!
b) it is in the village but not too noisy
c) favorite places to grab a bite are steps away--the café down stairs is sooo good, sushi place on the corner of the building is delicious, Splitz at the other end of the block!
d) kitchenette--I like to have tea and snacks in the room so we can just relax w/the beasts and we are steps from the IGA.
e) rooms are nice and comfortable clean and pretty stylish and if you are n the backside you feel like you are in a tree house.
Only downside is really not that big of a deal: free wifi but you can't tie it up downloading a movie or video chatting. get your emails but work off line. need more bandwidth then the staff can send you to the internet café just steps away

We arrived in Whistler without knowing where to sleep and tended to book the hostel or campground until Emilio from the accomodation kiosk recommended this hotel. We booked it straight away and got probably the most awesome room of the hotel. Very cozy, on the top floor with fireplace, sofa, 2 balconies and kitchen. The staff is more than helpful. There was the very nice lady at the front desk which even provided us with coffee during the night, the friendly cleaning staff and not least to say Adam from the bike shop downstairs. Just visit him - He does not only rent bikes (1hour for free if you stay at the hotel- don't miss that opportunity) he has great insider tipps what to do and where to go and helps you making contacts, as well. We would like to thank him for the fantastic day we spent due to his recommendations. :)

What was already mentioned in former reviews is in fact a small disadvantage of the rooms: our room was a bit badly soundproofed so that we could hear the piping during the night. However, it was a perfect stay and if we went back to Whistler one day, we would very much like to stay in this hotel again.
