Two of us were on a Motorbike trip and need a place in Whistler for one night. We both had stayed in the village before and were not really impressed with cost and noise, so we decided to give Ann and Terry's place a try and booked two rooms. As expected by the TA reviews the B&B was very clean and breakfast excellent. Two of the guests were young exchange students from Europe, Swiss I believe, and they where a lot of fun to talk to and apparently Ann and Terry also have a great reputation back in Switzerland as the young people came on the recommendation of others back home. We will certainly be recommending Ann and Terry's B&B to our friends as a excellent alternative to the hotels.

Room Tip: Rainforest room as a full bathroom with bathtub across the hall.

Glad to know that you chose Golden Dreams B&B from our excellent Trip Advisor reviews and found it to be as expected: very clean and great breakfast. Also glad that you now know that staying outside the village to be quiet and more affordable too! We strive to be all-inclusive, with our reasonable room rates that include, breakfast, free parking, free wi-fi, plus all the special touches like sherry decanter, cookies etc that one gets nicked and dimed for at a hotel. Did I mention that we do NOT charge the full 15% hotel tax? Golden Dreams is certainly Whistler's best valued choice with the HEALTHIEST breakfast around! We look forward to greeting you again or welcoming those you recommend to us as an excellent alternative to Whistler hotels.

A truly scrumptious place to stay. So very homely and comfy with wonderful warm hospitality. This is a very professionally run home-stay that is on a bus run to the village or you can make the short very pretty walk.

Room Tip: Only three rooms available each with a different theme. All very nice.

What a delight to read this review! Honoured to know that you found Golden Dreams B&B to be such a professionally run home-stay style B&B. Our excellent "just one mile" outside the village location, directly on the bus route does offer a quiet neighbourhood setting. This truly is your chance to stay with locals. As our motto states: "Be welcomed as guests, leave as friends!"

I have been up to the Whistler area multiple times and without a doubt I would say that Golden Dreams B&B is the best place I have ever stayed at. The host is very welcoming and don't get me started on the breakfast. Let's just say it was the best start to my skiing days. The rooms are great with really soft beds and the hot tub outside is a plus. I would highly recommend this place for a great Whistler stay.

We spent two nights at Golden Dreams and are very glad we did. All of the facilities were really great. We slept very well in comfortable beds and relaxed really well in a pleasant atmosphere. And of course, the breakfast was amazing; it's a reaon that so many people comment on it.Not only good tasting, but also artistic. Perfect coffee as well. Still, what struck us the most was how friendly and hospitable both Ann and Terry were. We felt welcome from the very beginning, and it really made us enjoy the whole stay. They were always happy to help and provide information. Ann even sent my jacket which I left behind to me by mail, which I'm really thanksful for!
If/when we come back to Whistler we will definetly stay at Golden Dreams!

Thanks for such a great review! We achieve excellent customer service and hospitality because we simply enjoy doing so - it's our gift to our guests! What a pleasure making friends from around the world, here at our "international breakfast table!"
Our wholesome, yet artistic "PEAK 2 PEAK" French Toast has people talking! Now serving Whistler's HEALTHIEST BREAKFASTS by incorporating superfoods like chia, & hemp hearts into our menu, plus as much as possible is made from scratch, with low sugar and a little creativity!

Final stop on our trip in Canada, great BB, best bed ever, superb breakfast. It felt like staying with friends. Really loved it and would definitely recommend staying there. A home away from home, lovely feeling. Whistler is such a pretty town with lovely views and shopping area. Check the japonese restaurant inside the tourist information, excellent for quick lunch, good food and price. Make sure you take a picture by the Olympic Rings and the paralympic statue. excellent excellent excellent !!!!!!!!!

My friend and I were travelling to whistler for three nights and we could not believe our eyes when this b&b popped up at a very affordable price on hostels.com...
It is located 5 minutes drive from Whistler and this is also walkable but we didn't bother as sadly it rained pretty much the whole time we were here. We were based in the black bear room which was spotless and had an extremely comfy bed which was even alright when top to tailing. The downstairs bathroom was shared with the wild west theme room and the entire time we were there this was immaculate...there's a choice of shower or Jacuzzi bath but we didn't bother with the bath as there is a hot tub outside on the upper decking...ideal to come back to after a days mountainbiking in the rain!
Ann and Terry the hosts are the nicest people you could wish to meet, very friendly, couldn't do enough for us and full of information about the surrounding area...breakfast was yummy with plenty of cups of tea, we especially enjoyed ann's home made jam.
There is also a living area with a tv and a fire...which was lit every night we were there...this was very nice just to come and relax in before or after going out in the evening.
I would definitely rebook to stay here again if I return to whistler (which hopefully I will) and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone else who is coming to the resort!!

So nice to have guests stay more than just one night = good adivse for future travellers!
When the weather happens to be a downer, we strive to keep guests attitudes positive: recommending appropriate activities indoor or out. Plus afterall a nice cozy fire, luxurious hot tub and sip of complimentary sherry after a day of rain can make everyone feel warm and fuzy.
My homemade, low sugar, locally sourced fruit jams/syrups are service daily: have now added JAM MAKING 101 to our web site, as have been asked for the recipe again and again.
Also good to note that even though 2 of our rooms do share a bathroom, nice to know it is kept immaculate, & can cleaned daily. (plus for convenience, both of these rooms do offer en-suite pedistal sink) Looking forward to your return stay ladies!

Simply excellent throughout. We stayed only for a single night in the Rainforest room, great facilities, nice decorated home away from home. Great hosts, excellent Canadian breakfast with very yummy pancakes and a nice spread of fresh fruit.

Extremely comfy beds, best sleep we had in two weeks in Canada.

Cannot recommend enough and hope to return next time.

Awsome to know that these guests enjoy the most comfortable bed in their entire Canadian 2 week holiday: must be our cozy featherbeds! Most recently one guest proclaimed: "That;s it! I;m staying!" again explaining that she normally does not sleep well, but our Rainforest Room feather bed proved different. Always a treat when moving from B&B to hotel etc...
These well travelled guests also raved about my WHOLEWHEAT BLUEBERRY, COCONUT PANCAKES: one of my creative nutritious specialities. Glad you got to enjoy our Whistler/Canadian pancake (topped with my Wild Blackberry-Peach syrup and Vanilla yogurt) experience before leaving for home.
Hope your wife is proudly wearing her gold maple leaf pendant she purchased here in Whistler: such a great Canadian momento!
