After selling our house we chose this place to relax for our last 6 months of our time in Whistler.
What a great place to stay, relax and enjoy. Short term, long term or holiday rent I can not fault it. Location, view, pool and hot tub. What more can you want?

Room Tip: Mountain view

The hotel features nice accommodations, we had a 2 bedroom unit with a kitchen. This worked out well for our family of 4. The property is located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain and thus provides ski-in / ski-out access to the mountain. There is a free ski valet service, which is very convenient.
The main village at Whistler is a 10 minute walk, which makes it close to shops and restaurants, but it's not so close that one is bothered by activities in the village.

Stayed here (2 adults,1 child) in The Aspens Apartment’s Blackcomb 5th April - 12th April. We were lucky to have a slope facing apartment so a great view (Apartment 353). The accommodation is perfect for the little time you spend in it.Although looking a little tired and needed updating, it served it's purpose perfectly. We just had the a one bedroom apartment so space was tight, next time I would opt for a two bed.

They have a ski shop on site and ski valet which is excellent. Also the pool and Jacuzzi are worth a mention which are lovely after a day in ski boots.

We also found the Aspens staff very helpful and nothing too much trouble.

The location on the bottom of the Blackcomb slope is excellent for ski in / out. Also a short stroll down the hill to the village.(Make sure you take walking boots for the snow walk down).Whislter village connects and is no more than 8 mins stroll. It's a nice walk anyway.Alternatively, the bus stops just across from the apartments main entrance and takes a few mins. We always walked back to Blackcomb as the bus goes all around the houses and takes ages. It's quicker to walk back.

This is an excellent ski resort.Lots of mixed terrain and the village of Whistler has everything you need. The atmosphere is great. All restaurants and bars are superb.(best value The Old Spaghetti House).Tip: If you go in the busy season try and pre book restaurants. We were lucky it was really quiet up until the Friday when the Ski and Snowboard festival started.

We hired a car in Vancouver, stayed there 3 days, then drove up to Whistler and dropped off the car after we had tipped our luggage in the Aspens. Then took the Bus back to Vancouver Airport. You don't need a car in Whislter so it's wasted days, plus you will incur parking charges.

Our (9 year old) daughter did the 5 day children’s ski programme and loved it. Her skiing improved tremendously.

We would definitely stay here again and will go again..........Wonderful.

Room Tip: Room 353 - one bed, with large pull out bed in lounge, looks out onto the slope and chair lift, plus...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with friends, booked privately through allura direct.
This was a cosy, well appoionted apartment with nice linens etc. The location is great for ski in, ski out and is a short walk (10 -15 mins on piste so bring snow boots) to Whistler Village or there is a free bus which leaves from near by. The hot tubs were great, although very crowded and the pool was fab. Ski Valet is a quick hassle free way to store skis. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return here.

I will never go back to Whistler Blackcomb for the simple reason that the lack of service by the Guest Services people of the mountain cost me hundreds of extra dollars. To date my requests for help with the problems has gone not only not helpful but just ignored. I will also not recommend the mountain to others because of the treatment I got there.
