Got a complimentary upgrade to a bigger room for our 1 night stay.
Big, clean and comfy room nothing to complain.
The hotel is a 3 minutes walk from Whistler Village with many shops, bars and restaurants.
Breakfast was not included but there are many options in the Village.
Parking possible (underground) for additional 20CAD.

Aava Hotel would be a good base for a longer stay in Whistler if you want to hit the slopes in winter or the bike trails in summer season.

I would return anytime!

Enjoyed my recent one night stay. Got super lucky and were able to check in right away upon arrival. Room is large and clean. Very comfortable king-sized bed with nice pillows. Loved the hot tub and heated pool. Bathrobes were nice to use on the walk down to the pool. Friendly and cheerful staff. They have spaces to charge electric vehicles in their underground parking which was handy.

many are the hotels have stayed at on the mountain. all, “meh” to one degree or another. if what say next makes sense to you, you may wish to read whole review. yes, lovely decor; brilliant coffee machine in lobby; terrific pool deck; etc.... but best of all, aava feels family- run in the very best sense. front desk hands-down not only nice (everyone is pretty nice, apparently, at whistler) but helpful and attentive. nice atmosphere to whole place, we were given an even nicer room the second day, even though were there only two nights and it was a holiday weekend to boot! says a lot, yes? we will stay only here from now, yet sharing this gem out of altruism :)

We stopped at Whistler during a tour with Travelmarvel. Our hotel was the Aava.

It is right next to the village, which was great 👍

The bed was extremely comfortable, so that is always a bonus.

There was a laundry you could use on the second floor. Washing detergent was $2, washing machine was $2 and the dryer was $2.

The room had a small bar fridge and a coffee pod machine.

Couple of tips : you need to buy milk at the grocery store in the village as you are not offered complimentary milk. There is no jug to boil water but you can get a jug for your room if you ask reception.

Worth staying at...especially for the comfortable bed.

Stayed here on a Travel Marvel tour in 2017 for two nights. Hotel was in a great location. Very easy walking distance to the centre of Whistler. Easy walk to the lifts up Blackcomb and Whistler mountains. Hotel was very comfortable. I loved Whistler would recommend it to anyone and this was a great place to stay. Also close to the golf course across the road where we saw our first wild bear.
