We took the gondola up to Whistler which was approximately a 30 minute trip. We saw the Olympic Statue and took photos of course. We then hiked up the mountain for 40 minutes. After the hike down, we took the longest suspension gondola in the world, "Peak to Peak" which takes you from Whistler Mountain to Blackcomb Mountain. The ride was SPECTACULAR!!! You drop down into the valley and then go back up to the peak of Blackcomb. We even waited for the glass bottom gondola which was a thrill to see rivers below us.
We saw people skiing which was cool since it was 80 degrees at the bottom of the mountain. We took the chairlifts back down to the village and saw a couple of black bears!
What a great day. This should not be missed if you plan on visiting Whistler.
