I spent a week here with my ski club and I found the room to be very comfortable, just like home. My room faced the back of the hotel, and was quiet and relaxing. Being next to the Liquor and Grocery store was convenient and I cooked in my room several times. Just a 5 minute walk to the gondola in ski boots.

The hotel is very close to the blackcomb gandola and everything. Pretty clean and the front desk is very helpful. The indoor pool and hot tub added value. For us, there was a TV issue, which I hope they leave a TV guide there. The kitchen even doesn't offer fry pan which I hope they can give us detailed kitchen stuff list.

Thanks for taking the time to post this review of your recent stay at The Blackcomb Lodge. We are glad to hear that the staff were very helpful during your stay. With the TV's here at the lodge they have 2 sources where you can see the upcoming programming: either by using the 'guide' provided by Shaw cable (opened by pressing the 'guide' button on the remote) or by going to channel 2 which has a continuous programming guide 24 hours a day.

All rooms should be stocked with multiple pots and a frying pan. I am sorry to hear that this wasn't the case during your stay. If contacted the front desk will be happy to make sure one is delivered promptly.

Thank you for choosing The Blackcomb Lodge and Whistler Premier for your Whistler accommodation needs.

Stayed recently with the family. The hotel was very central to everything we needed and was about a 3 minutes walk to the slopes - easily done by my 7 year old. The room with loft and small kitchenette fitted the five of us though there wasn't much room to move about. Staff was friendly and helpful too. If we had one complaint it was that the heat worked too well. We had to turn it off.

I was reading the reviews and expected a very loud and unhelpful hotel, but found the opposite. Maybe we were on the quiet side..? Or maybe we were on the second level and that gave us insulation from the clubs below. It was Spring Break for Canada and all of Whistler was very busy and lots of partying, but it didn't keep us up at night - not once.
The 1 bed + loft was just fine for what we needed. It had a kitchen, basic couch/tv, but we didn't spend much time sitting around the lodge. We were out and enjoying Whistler!

The location is awesome. Right in the square and a nice stroll to the ski lifts/gondola. Right across the square is a grocery store and a liquor store, so you can stock up on groceries if you need it. There's a small coffee shop next to the pharmacy in the square, but if you miss it, there's at least 3 starbucks within Whistler village.

The twin beds upstairs in the loft can't be moved (we were hoping to squish them together for a queen bed) We figured out a way, but probably shouldn't reveal that here! The front desk was always helpful, albeit a little slow. I will say, though, when you are in front of them, they give you their undivided attention!
There's a parking garage underneath for a cost every day, but we were staying with timeshare owners and had that fee waived. They store your ski's right there in the lobby and it's very safe and taken care of.

The only thing was the last morning we were there (and thinking: last day to sleep in past the work alarm clock) I am pretty sure the neighbors were walking up and down the stairs for 2 hours with ski boots on. But hey..that's what happens in hotels. Other than that we couldn't hear anything from the neighbors, but ironically the front doors are paper thin. Makes for interesting ear candy when walking down the hall, or hearing your neighbors come home.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: 2nd floor is much quieter and has a better view

Thank you for taking the time post such a great and detailed review of your recent stay at the Blackcomb Lodge. A review like this is very helpful as feedback such as this helps us pin point our strong and weak points.

I am most glad to hear that you had an enjoyable time while visiting Whistler and that your stay with us a good one. As you mentioned the 2nd floor loft rooms are definitely a bit more quiet than some of the lower floor studio rooms. However, the quiet side studios are also good for those seeking a room away from the action in the Whistler village.

We are also glad to hear that you would consider staying with us again and hope to see you in the future!

Thank you for choosing The Blackcomb Lodge and Whistler Premier for your Whistler accommodation needs.

We booked the room mainly due to the price and the review. What we got was a great sized clean room, awesome location, actually free wifi that worked, friendly staff, and early check in. The Only negative was there was some noise at night but it only woke me once and not the kids or wife. It was expected from the location we had and it being march break... And it was more than tolerable. We were impressed overall, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. We only stayed one night but a bonus worth mentioning, we saw many people walking through various parts of the village carrying grocery bags.... There is a grocery store directly opposite the lodge.... That is a big bonus!!

Thank you for taking the time to post this review of your recent stay at The Blackcomb Lodge. We are most pleased to hear that we were able to exceed your expectations and make your family's time in Whistler a great experience.

It was definitely quite busy this March break; with the village being full of people having a great time. It is nice to read that your family wasn't bothered by the commotion and were able to enjoy the lively atmosphere the Whistler Village had that week.

Thank you for choosing The Blackcomb Lodge and Whistler Premier for your Whistler accommodation needs.

The service was not always helpful. We did have to call to get our room cleaned twice on a four day trip.

The location was the best, to skiing and food. I did use the pool, which was clean and enjoyable.

I would come back to this hotel.

Thanks for taking the time to post this review of your recent stay at The Blackcomb Lodge. We are pleased to hear you had a great time while in Whistler. It is hard to tell whether referring to the front desk staff or housekeeping with the comment regarding the 'service'. But as you said you would return I take it you enjoyed your stay.

Our daily housekeeping service includes trash removal, replacement of used towels left on the floor or in the bath tub and making of the beds.

Thanks for choosing the Blackcomb Lodge and Whistler Premier for your Whistler accommodation needs.
