Just spent 10 days at Whistler and by choice stayed at First Tracks Lodge which is in creekside but chose as quieter than the village but this accommodation is direct access to gondola to blackcomb mountain.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which was amazing for a family as had two bedrooms with ensuite and a third bedroom with direct access to own bathroom so good for large family or evn 3 couples. had large lounge with balcony and fireplace. views were amazing, close to market place in creekside and also 5 minute walk to shuttle to village.
would highly recommend very high standard accommodation and great location.

Room Tip: Location had great views and much quieter than staying in whistler village, and direct access to ski gondola.

We stayed here the third week of January 2013. It is right by the Creekside Gondola and we skiied right to the door at the end of the day. Superb concierge service, hot tubs, gym but no restaurant. This is a beautiful spot with all the amenities right next to Whistler Creekeside.

While I've stayed at fancier ski lodging, First Tracks maintains excellent standards and it's hard to find anything that is more convenient to the slopes! The rooms were clean and well-appointed if somewhat lacking in size. I very much appreciated the radiant heat in the floors of the bathrooms. The property goes out of their way to accommodate checked-out guests that are staying around to ski another day. They even provide a courtesy day pass so that you can use shower facilities to clean up after a last day of skiing.

Room Tip: Stay away from slopeside so you don't have to hear the snow cats in the early morning.

We stayed here the first 2 weeks of January 2013. Right by the Creekside Gondola. Walk 20 metres to the Creekside Gondola in the morning and ski to the back door of the Hotel at the end of the day. Very friendly staff and excellent concierge service. Hot pool after skiing was amazing. Rooms are top rate with ensuite for all bedrooms, underfloor heating in bathrooms and kitchen.

This was a fantastic place to stay for our vacation. Along with having ski-in, ski-out access, the rooms are huge and well-appointed. We had a one bedroom suite, which was huge for only two people. The decor was cozy and modern, and would have comfortably fit another one or two people. It was also super convenient that the hotel let us use common areas during the day we checked out, so we could still go skiing for the day and not have to worry about moving our car or finding a place to change out of our gear at the end of the day. The concierge at the hotel was also really helpful and friendly.
The hotel's location in Creekside is ideal for families or anyone looking for something a little quieter than the main village, but is still convenient enough to access the hill easily. A cab into Whistler village only cost about $12 before tip, but there were also enough restaurants and amenities in Creekside that we didn't really need to leave. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we visit.
