This is better than 5 star. Each room is attached to a bathroom . . I have already recommended this to all of my co-workers. I will always stay at First Track Lodge way better than any 5 star hotel.RIM

Can't say enough about this lodge. We stayed in a 2 bdrm unit overlooking the pool. It was absolutely beautiful with plenty of space for a family of 4. The finishes were very high quality and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, including in-unit laundry, which by day 9 of our vacation was a bonus. The unit was spotlessly clean and housekeeping kept it very tidy through our stay. Location is amazing - right in the centre of Creekside, close to a coffee shop, restaurants, bike rentals and walking trails. It is a skiers dream as you literally walk out the back door to the gondola.

I would highly recommend this facility to others.

At first, when you walk into a unit (we had a 3 bedroom) it is overwhelmingly beautiful. The fireplace, the stunning kitchen with stainless steel appliances, the dining room table...all very impressive. But after you stay for a bit, you begin to see that it's missing a few very simple things that could make it perfect.

First the pluses
Lots of room and top notch furniture, appliances, towels and sheets. The beds were so comfortable I could have stayed there all day!

Location is good...I'm assuming for skiiers. We were there in July so not much skiing happening. There are a few stores and restaurants nearby including a Starbucks, Boston Pizza, a very large grocery store, Subway, etc.

The place was initially very clean...the upkeep will be reviewed in the "not so good" section of this review.

The staff, the few we dealt with, were very nice and helpful.

The heated floors in the bathroom were a nice touch.

Now for the not-so-good stuff:

We were in Whistler for a wedding and on the night we were getting ready I realized that there isn't a full length mirror in the entire place. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms and not one full mirror!

One day we had to call housekeeping twice, 3 hours apart, before they came and then they only did a surface cleaning leaving all the dirty dishes on the tables, etc. Not very impressed!

The third bedroom doesn't have a TV. The other two do. Why would that be? We were traveling with two adult children and there is no reason why one bedroom should have a TV and the other not. Makes no sense to me.

The bathrooms are all interior with no windows. Not a problem except in the middle of the night it would be nice to have a "soft" light option or some sort of night light feature so you don't have to manage in the pitch black or turn on the full set of overhead lights.

It's pretty far from the Village. That didn't bother us, but others might have an issue so I'm mentioning it. It's about a 10 minute drive. Don't see how you could walk it.

Overall, I would stay here again. It's a comfortable alternative to a hotel room and quite reasonable in the summer months. It's expensive in winter but you get the ski-in/ski-out feature that is probably worth the extra expense.

Amazing location, all amenities we needed. Rented 3 bdrm suite with 3 couples and each had our own bathrooms. The suite was perfect and had all amenities we needed to cook and entertain in suite. Amazing view and base of mountain!

We stayed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Our unit was very clean. There was only a few people staying in the lodge so we had the pool, sauna and hot tub to ourselves. The spa area was kept very clean as well. The unit had new appliances.. What is great also is there is a 4.5 kl trail that takes you right to Whistler village. We will definitely return and would like the same room.
