Stuck inside hotel today as son has twisted his knee skiing. The maid must have noticed our home made ice pack and told the front desk because 5 minutes after she left there was a knock at the door and a man delivering ice packs! Thank you!

We just returned from a six night stay at the Four Seasons in Whistler and the kids promptly proclaimed it the "best vacation ever". Just about everything at the hotel was excellent and we can't wait to return. We arrived at the hotel several hours before the stated check-in time, but the staff was able to shuffle some room assignments around and got us a room right away. Tony handled the formalities at both check-in and check-out and was great in that he explained the terms of our package (which included lift tickets and breakfast) as well as many of the features of the hotel. He also presented the kids was a small stuffed animal which they loved (this was followed up with a giant chocolate chip cookie with the kids' names on them which arrived about 15 mins. after we checked in--another great touch and one the kids really appreciated). Once up in the room, we were very impressed with its size, cleanliness and comfort. We stayed in a deluxe executive suite that had two bathrooms, a large living room, deck, master bedroom with a king bed and several large closets and a fire place. The furnishings were very comfortable. In addition, the room had a small mini-bar--the best feature of which was the fact that the small refrigerator was empty so we could use it to store waters and other drinks and snacks. The other facilities of the hotel are also excellent...we enjoyed dinner at Sidecut immensely (we actually went twice) as well as dinner and snacks in the bar. The bar offered local beers, wines and plenty of cocktails and had live music most nights we were there. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well. The pool and hotubs were great--especially after a long day of skiing. The ski concierge service was awesome. The staff are just stellar. Every morning they were there to help get boots on, skis ready and to point out what they thought would be the best runs of the day. In the afternoon, they were quick to take the skis at the bottom of the mountain, takes your boots and offer a hot chocolate and cookies. While the Four Seasons is not ski-in/ski-out (it's about a 5 min. walk from the hotel to the Blackcomb base), this is as good as it otherwise gets. I should add that we rented our equipment at the shop in the hotel and everything was ready for us the next morning at the ski concierge--all of the equipment was great---I was actually given a brand new pair of Vokl's which were a lot of fun to ski. Another great feature of the hotel was that they converted a conference room in a movie theater for the kids. On several days during our visit, they offerede 4 and 7 showings of popular kids movies. They served popcorn and soft drinks and it was supervised so you could leave the kids and head to the bar, the pool or the spa. It's little touches like this that make the Four Seasons such a great place to bring the entire family as the kids loved the fact that they could go to the movies by themselves. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the main village and there is an easy path to follow to get there. In addition, the hotel offers a shuttle service from a 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. They say the shuttle comes by about every 10 minutes---we must have gotten lucky as I don't remember waiting more than 2 minutes! The shuttle drivers, like the rest of the staff, were very friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a simply fantastic hotel and we recommend it highly!

Room Tip: The deluxe executive suites are very spacious in that they can easily fit two adults and thee young...

. If you go to Whistler and want to experience 7th heaven on an off the slopes head to the Four Seasons!!! the location is a bit "far" but in the end not an issue unless you are in the crazy sub-zero temps and lack of pow pow that we had ... shuttle service is more than adequate but it is just not in the hub ... a small price to pay for an otherwise excellent hotel

My husband and I spent 7 nights here in February. We could not fault anything or anyone at this amazing property. We stayed in an executive suite with a balcony, great view of the ski slopes, fire place, two bathrooms, a living room and large bedroom. It was spotlessly clean. The staff were welcoming, professional, enthusiastic, kind and interested in our wellbeing while at the hotel. The Ski Concierge service is a bonus and a slick run operation. The hot chocolate of warm chocolate chip cookies upon your return from the slopes is very welcome. The hotel restaurant has a great fine dining and casual menu so everyone is catered for. The food is delicious. The hotel is located a short stroll to the ski lift, cafes, restaurants and bars. They also have a complementary shuttle bus around the village for in house guests. The hotel and residence are perfect for anyone during any season. We are already planning our return.

So many wonderful things about our week at Whistler Four Seasons. Firstly our trip was delayed a week before departure in Feb 2013 due to my husband's motorbike accident - the hotel credited the full amount of our accommodation, without penalty, for 12 months. A great start! Fast forward to Feb 2014 - CHECK IN: smooth and easy. THE ROOM: I booked a Premier room (chasing the best view) but was upgraded to 1 bedroom/1 living room/2 bathrooms which still had a lovely view across the pool to the mountains and the second bathroom and extra cupboards for ski gear was wonderful (would book this again), the bed was super comfortable, fireplace a very nice touch & good for drying neckrolls & gloves. SKI GEAR: too easy to just walk downstairs to be fitted out by professionals & skis delivered to the ski concierge. SKI CONCIERGE: It's hard to rave enough about this wonderful service. You never carry your skis anywhere. The ski concierge is a few stairs from the slopes, they bring your boots while you sit comfortably, you walk outside and they hand you your skis. At the end of the day you ski to the red tent beside the lift base, unclip your skis which they take from you, you walk back down those few steps, sit down while the gorgeous friendly staff bring your walking boots and take your gear away to dry overnight. Hot chocolate, cookies and water on hand. This is decadent bliss!! THE SPA: we had massages every second day which were outstanding, some of the best massages we've had and there have been many. The Apres Ski with Kristen got into my hips like my physio, she also studied Thai massage in Chang Mai for 2 years, Heidi awesome for deep tissue (says my 6'2" 105kg husband), Shannon great all round and did an awesome job of releasing shoulders/legs for the flight home. SAUNA/POOL: The steam room and alpine shower flushed all those lactic acids out after a day skiing, then out to the pool area with three great hot spas for a final relax each day. The pool staff were quick to offer drinks/brownies. What sets this hotel apart are THE STAFF!! Happy, friendly, attentive without being intrusive, enthusiastic - the vibe in this hotel is friendly and unaffected despite being a truly luxurious hotel. Sidecut steak restaurant deserves a separate review - loved it so much we ate there twice.

We went in late March 2013 and it was low occupancy which worked out to our benefit since we were the only ones utilizing the hot tub and bar area outside.

The service was amazing and the proximity to the mountain was perfect. Loved the fireplace and balcony and couldn't wait to ski my heart out every morning.

The Four Seasons never disappoints and is always worth the investment.

My husband and I spent 7 days here on a ski vacation. Our suite was very comfortable, a large bedroom and bath, a comfortable sitting room with fireplace and balcony, and a powder room with an additional closet for ski essentials. We especially enjoyed the après ski at both the bar and the pool area beyond the spa. The restaurant was also exceptional (ask for a table in the back area of the restaurant for a little more privacy as the bar is very close to the other seating area.) the breakfast is not to be missed - there is a buffet but we ordered from the menu each day and the selections are perfect to prepare you for a day of skiing! My only minor complaint is the fact that the resort is very family "kid" friendly - expect to share the pool & hot tub areas with some kids for après ski as well as the restaurant for romantic evenings.
