Our family recently returned after spending a week at the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre Hotel. We stayed in the Tantalus Suite on the top floor, which is an amazing 3 bedroom suite covering over 1700 square feet. It had 4 decks, 3 full-size flat panel TV's, 3 full bathrooms and a full sized kitchen with all necessary dishes, pans and silverware. It was plenty large enough for 6 adults and 4 children. The views from the top are stunning as you overlook all of the Village as well as the surrounding peaks. It is just a short 3 or 4 minute walk to the chairlift on the Whistler side with plenty of shops and restaurants all around.

The continental breakfast was good with plenty of fresh fruits, cereal and fresh pastries to choose from. Good brewed coffee was also available. The dining hall, like the rest of the hotel, was kept very clean.

The heated pool is located on the ground floor. The pool was quite small and didn't really have a kids end. The shallowest part of the pool is around 3'4". The pool was heated comfortably though, which was quite nice. There are also 2 good sized hot tubs located outside. The workout room is very basic, but has quality exercise bikes, treadmill and some weights. Since most people are there to spend time hiking, golfing, skiing, biking or some other outdoor activity, a large workout room isn't necessary.

The staff are all friendly and helpful. My only small complaint is that a large percentage of the staff are foreigners from the UK and Australia who are not from the Whistler area (or even from Canada). The staff are still helpful, though they are not experts on the region since most of them have not been in the area more than 6 months or so. At times, it was hard to find a staff member who was actually Canadian in order to ask a question regarding the area. Overall though, this is a very minor complaint as all of the staff were so friendly and nice.

I absolutely will be coming back here again!

My sister and her family were visiting us in Vancouver in mid July and we decided to spend the weekend at Whistler. The accommodations were beautiful and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk to everything - even the chairlift for sight seeing. The staff was amazing. We found the staff to be very friendly and they went out of their way to be helpful. This was the first time we stayed at this hotel, and we will definitely be back!

We spent a few days here in the latter part of June and it was the perfect place to recharge as well as enjoy the splendid scenery. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and we found it extremely comfortable and well appointed. The hotel was central to everything in the village and it was great that some of the best restaurants had their off season specials at that time.

We travel to Whistler every summer and we always stay at the Pan Pacific Village Centre. The minute I walk in to this hotel I relax. I even love the smell of this hotel. the housekeeping in amazing and the rooms are always immaculately cleaned. They really go above and beyond to clean these rooms perfectly. The breakfast is good and reminds me of a European breakfast buffet spread.
The views are beautiful from every room we have ever stayed in. This time we stayed on the second floor and the views were even nice from the ground floor. I kind of wish they wouldn't have given us a ground floor room because we had a child with us and I worried about how easy it would be for him to get up and walk right out of the hotel.
The pool is very nice and clean and they even have toys for the kids.
I wouldn't use the spa here though, it is just off the gym and doesn't have the 'I'm going to the spa' feel.
We have also stayed at the Westin and the Pan Pacific Mountainside. The Westin is too far from the village for us and the Mountainside was too noisy being so close to 3 major nightlife spots in whistler. We love the Pan Pacific Village Centre and will always stay here when we visit Whistler. It is truly a beautiful hotel and can't be beat in Whistler.

We went to Whistler on advice from some friends for our son's high school grad trip since he wanted a lot to do. A bit different than our usual beach resorts, but one of our best family trips yet. There was so much to do (glacier hike, zip line, peak to peak some favorites) and the entire town is amazingly always pleasant. My husband and I along with our two sons, 16 & 18 stayed for four nights in a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite. Absolutely perfect!! Clean, modern and plenty of room. Suite had a small kitchen which seemed to have everything, although we only used fridge, a nice dining area, living room and balcony. Master bedroom was a bit small, but did have a king size bed and high quality linens. Each bedroom and the living room had flat screen tvs. Plenty of thick towels in room along with robe and slippers for each guest. Free internet too. Service is outstanding! Five star service. Always pleasant with genuine concern to make your stay perfect. Case in point - after checkout we took the Sea to Sky train to Vancouver. After boarding the train my son noticed he had left a shopping bag in the hotel lobby. The hotel offered to run the bag to the train and did so in under 10 minutes for us!! Location is again, perfect. Right at the Village entrance, minutes from slopes, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast included was more European & light: ham, turkey, cheese, croissants, pastries, along with bagels, english muffins, plenty of fresh fruit (cut melons), cereals, juices &yogurts, although we were told they have hot (bacon, egss, etc. in winter) Coffee & tea with "to go" cups if needed. Thrilled we chose Pan Pacific over Four Seasons. Would love to go back and would definitely stay at this hotel. Pics on sight are right on.
