“Great Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

We cannot think of an issue we had with our stay. The location is great, the room was perfect for us (5 adults in a 2 bedroom room), kitchen was well stocked and good quality, coffee in the room was great, staff were fantastic and helpful. It is a little pricey but it is whistler and with the stay being perfect, overall we were very happy. I believe in leaving comments on things that can be improved on, just so other people can know what may be an issue for them. None of these were an issue for us. There are only 3 'improvements' I can think of. First the Continental Breakfast coffee wasn't as good (food was good though), second the bathrooms could really use fans with how many people are sharing them on these larger rooms, finally the pool is slightly small but the patio down near the pool is great. As you can see, very small or non-existent complaints so really I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: Facing the court yard you get people noise but we didnt have an issue. Facing the back side road you...

this is a small hotel overlooking the mountains at Whistler Vancouver . Everything was great .
the staff were all very helpful.
The checking in and out and daily going on was all done calmly and professionally. Breakfast was healthy. Great spa. Pool was a strange shape and a little small. Our rooms were very clean . We had a suite which had a stove , microwave , dishwasher and fridge. Great views from our room.

My family and I stayed here in December 2013 for 10 nights. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we asked about excursions etc. the room was a little small but considering we were out on the slopes all day it didn't bother us too much. Breakfast wasn't extravagant but it was adequate in a good way. My kids loved the happy hour every afternoon when they got free cookies and hot chocolate and the beer wasn't too shabby either! The pools and spas were amazing and the beauty spa was reasonably priced too! We had an amazing time and we have booked again for 11 nights this December and we cannot wait!!

Good Day Eileen,

Thank you for kindly taking the time to share your feedback from your December 2013 trip to Whistler.

I am thrilled to read that you so enjoyed your time in resort with us and appreciated our property amenities, such as the heated outdoor saltwater pools and hot tubs and the kids (big and small) got to enjoy a cookie or two during our complimentary apres hour.

We shall look forward to welcoming you all back his coming December. Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can assist you with any arrangement, such as ordering lift tickets and equipment rentals, etc ahead of our trip.

Warm regards from the team here in Whistler.

Just returned from a three night stay at this property.
The hotel was very clean with a very nice decor. The location was excellent. Very central to either ends of the village (being located pretty much in the middle) and also a close walk to upper village. The pool was great. Not a very large pool but never had a problem getting chairs. It was very nice that there were two hot tubs. One was a little quieter than the other.
Breakfast, which was included, was okay. Very convenient to be able to come downstairs for breakfast but the offerings were limited (cereal, bread/toast/bagels, fruit, cheese, cold cuts...pretty standard stuff). I was a little disappointed because the last time we stayed here, the breakfast spread was much better with hot items offered (but I think that might be only offered in the cooler months?). In any case, what they offered was sufficient for a nice start to the day. It was very enjoyable to have breakfast out on their patio.
The service all through the hotel was excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Would definitely stay again next time. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Pay a little more and get the higher floors. The view of the mountains are worth it.

We would highly recommend the Pan Pacific Whistler Centre. We have stayed before and had a good experience.

On this visit we were upgraded to a lovely 2 bed suite on arrival which was a lovely surprise on our 20th wedding anniversary. We mentioned this on check in and then received a further surprise when a chilled bottle of bubbly and 2 glasses were delivered to our suite with a congratulations card.

The staff were really warm and friendly and helpful. Very efficient and nothing too much trouble.

The suite was gorgeous with great Aveda toiletries and smart furnishings and super comfy bed. Brilliant Whistler views.

We will definitely be back in the future :-)

We just got back from a weekend stay at this fantastic hotel and can't wait to stay again.
We stayed in an upper-floor 2 bedroom suite (#5515) which was perfect for our family of four. The rooms were clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains. Some highlights include: Aveda bath products, plenty of towels (and places to hang them which is always a pet peeve of mine in hotels), comfortable beds (a bit on the soft side), black out curtains that actually work and well-equipped kitchen facilities.
We had picked this hotel in hopes of avoiding the noise that can come along with the summer partiers at Whistler and mission accomplished. There were several stagettes staying at the hotel but we never heard a peep and the noise from the village stroll was negligible.

All the rooms include the complimentary breakfast buffet which was excellent. Bare in mind it is a continental breakfast so no hot items, however the extensive selection of cereals, yogurt, fruit (fresh & dried), cold meats and cheese, hard-boiled eggs, pastries, breads, bagels, waffles etc offered lots of variety and something for everyone. The only minor issue is that breakfast is served from 8-11am so not great if you're early risers or want to get a jump on the day. Would be nice if they opened a bit earlier. The line-up/rush when the doors opened at 8am indicated we're not the only ones who felt this way.

This hotel is in a great spot. Very close to hiking trails, skateboarding park, and BMX park. Step outside the hotel and the village is right there. Some great dining right by the hotel: Earls, The Keg Steakhouse, and the Mongolie Grill. There is also a Starbucks, Shopper's Drug Mart, and a Movie theatre right at the bottom of the steps.

The hotel is beautiful. They use Aveda products in the bathroom. Lovely shower and tub. Cute kitchenettes, stainless steel and granite countertops. The staff were very friendly. Pets allowed at a price, as well as underground parking at a price. Free breakfast until 11:00....yay! Sleep in! Private balconies.

Good shopping: Eddie Bauer, Gap, Lululemon, Columbia, Helly Hansen, Northface, Billabong.

"Cows" ice cream is great! Usually has a lineup.

The best biking and hiking trails. Well marked! If you get a chance rent some gear and do the bike park on the mountain.

If you want an easy hike go see Nairn Falls and Brandywine Falls.
