We stayed at Nita Lake Lodge over Easter and enjoyed the Brunch which was very special. The staff were most attentive about anything we might need. We were driven to the Village daily so eliminated finding parking for our car. They thought of everything!

Stayed at Nita Lake on the weekend (for a wedding) and it was *fantastic*. The rooms were incredibly spacious and well-equipped, the view stunning, the food delicious and the overall helpfulness of the staff first-rate.

Had the mother's day brunch on Sunday (my wife's first), and this again surpassed expectations. Truly memorable stay.

Room Tip: Room with a lake view is simply breathtaking

My husband and I stayed in Nita Lake Lodge for five nights and loved it .After reading the reviews of other travellers we decided on Nita Lake Lodge outside Whistler village and we were very happy. This lovely hotel is in a tranquil lakeside location with beautiful nature trails on its doorstep and yet only four miles from the village.
Our lakeview studio was bigger than we expected, with a fab view over the lake and surrounding mountains .The bed was very comfortable and we had a lovely large bathroom, . All the staff were so friendly and very helpful they made us very welcome . The shuttle to the village was great and there was never a problem, the staff again were very accomodating as we went to the village daily.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Room Tip: The rooms looking over the lake are well worth it

we stayed at the Nita lake lodge for 2 days and had a great time. Since we had gotten a deal through gilt.com the value for money was a-freaking-mazing !!
Our room was huge with a view of Whistler mountain, and was very clean. Hotel staff was super friendly, gave us all the info needed, drove us to and from Whistler village multiple times.

Nita Lake Lodge is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Being in Creekside was much quieter than being in Whistler Village which suited us just fine. The free shuttle (a Land Rover) took us into the village anytime we wanted to go. The room was very nice - modern rustic is the best description we could come up with. The staff was excellent especially Rich and Lauren who welcomed us and got us settled quite nicely. If you are looking for luxury and a relaxing atmosphere, Nita Lake Lodge should be your choice. Loved the kitchenette with toaster and french press.

Room Tip: 3rd floor and above for unobstructed views.

I have been to Whistler 6 times now. I have stayed in a variety of places. We have stayed at the Nita Lake Lodge twice now. Since we travel to Whistler once a year, we will only stay at the Nita Lake Lodge. It is our home away from home. Even though our tendency is to venture out and explore new surroundings, we have fallen in love over and over again with the Nita Lake Lodge. We just departed 3 days ago, and we are already planning our next trip.

Why Nita Lake Lodge:

1) Location, location, location- the lake and the tranquil surroundings makes this place the most relaxing place on earth. It is very nice to be away from the crowds. You really feel like you are away from the masses. It brings you closure to nature and the beauty of BC.
2) The people- Since this is our second stay, we were happy to see some familiar faces. We also met some new folks who work at the lodge. We especially enjoyed the company of Su Chan- she helped me develop my new favorite martini- The Whistler Kristini. It is a new spin off of the once served Fleur di Li. This drink was pre- Hailey (the new bar manager). We also enjoyed the company of Colin Schira who infused vodka with grapefruit and basil, and made us some special late night after dinner cocktails. The extremely creativie and interesting conversation really made the trip extra enjoyable. These individuals really enjoy people and the artistry of exploring new and interesting culinary cocktail inventions. We had so much fun discussing new ideas and variations on food and cocktails. We discussed travel desitnations and influences on our ideas. It was a great mix ture of individuals that made this place our home for the week.
3) Super Star Treatment- Everyone at the lodge really makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world. When we asked for more shampoo, it arrived in less than 5 minutes. Everyone who works here enjoys their job. They enjoy giving you the best experience possible. Everyone is so consistent.
4) The room- we love the decor. It is a pleasant mix of modern/ contemporary with a rustic woodsie element, which matches the destination. The full person bath tub fit my husband who is over 6'4". I caught him taking multiple baths, which he cannot do at home. They also provide a kitchenette. This allowed us to make french pressed cofffee in the morning with Bailey's.
5) Free Shuttle- even though this location is off the beaten path, you can find your way to any location in the Upper Village and in Whistler Village. It truly is a free shuttle.

We would highly recommend a stay. It has been such a pleasure to stay at this beautiful destination. We will be back soon!

Cheers~

We were in room 316,a corner room. I think it was considered a valley view. It was a large studio with vaulted ceiling, gas fp, flat screen tv with satelite, loads of cupboards for your clothes, and a beautifully tiled bathroom with heated floors. A special gift of chocolates and a personal note of congratulations was waiting for us upon arrival. Many of the staff made sure to give us best wishes for our anniversary. They are all so warm and friendly.
In the room, one cubboard concealed a sink, microwave, hot water pot, coffee pot, dishes and siverware, cups and wine glasses for two. The coffee and tea bags provided were excellent. There was room for storing your own foods as well. Can't ski without my oatmeal! The king bed was plush and comfy as were the sofa and chairs. The balcony had a set of chairs , lots of room and a lovely mountain view. Although we overlooked an active rail line, the train noise never even bothered us. No whistle blowing, just the quiet click of the cars going slowly. I was perfectly happy without the lake view, we didn't spend that much time on the balcony or looking out the windows.
My one and only complaint about the room was the lighting in the bathroom. The glare of the ceiling lights cast shadows and I couldn't get my makeup on comfortably. There were no vanity lights over the mirror.
There was a very powerful blow dryer in the bathroom and the beautiful tile is a rough cut multi-earth toned sandstone that felt warm from the geothermal heating system and was not at all slippery which I liked alot. The room temperature was always comfortable too.
Housekeeping did a great job and the front desk staff were fabulous, happy and helpful. The spa is lovely and was convenient to get to from this room. The hot tubs are outside on the roof and you go through the spa to get to them. I don't think the Lodge was at full capacity while we were there because the tubs were never crowded.
The location of the Lodge is a quiet area with a convenience store store and a pub very close. They also provide a Land Rover and a driver to take you anywhere you want and pick you up. Again, we never had to wait and the drivers were delightful and full of information. You may want to consider one of the buses or shuttles instead of renting a car since parking (anywhere in whistler) is a minimum of $20 a night! However, we drove up past Pemberton and the scenery was magnificent, well worth having the car.
The hotel has complimentary ski lockers very close to the Creekside gondola or you can bring your skis back to the hotel and they have a storage closet. The ski lockers are located just below the Can Ski rental and is very convenient for changing equipment or dealing with problems.
We had an exquisite dinner at the restaurant one evening and I was very satisfied with the quality and presentation of the food for our special day.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied and extended our stay past our 3 day reservation for a total of 6 days there. I think this hotel deseves its high rating.
A convenient treat for us, right next to the Lodge is a pub/ restaurant frequented by the locals with great hot wings and a killer butternut squash soup!. It was great food, fast service and a friendly, comfortable environment.
