This is a very good place for breakfast and quick lunch or inbetween. The sandwiches are excellent and fresh, the prices are o.k.

“Donuts”
Reviewed 31 March 2014

They are "mini," which makes them even better. Buy them early and often -- you'll ski them off in one run down Dakine.

“Delicious, fresh-made sandwiches”
Reviewed 19 March 2014

Stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday and my fiance and I split a fresh made sandwich and soup for about $15. Not a terrible deal considering the size of the sandwich and the quality of it. They make it right in front of your face and load it with whatever meat, sauces, veg and cheese you want. Grilled or not grilled. Cool restaurant but you can also carry out whatever you order.

“Great cheap breakfast.”
Reviewed 14 March 2014

We had breakfast here most mornings instead of at the four seasons where we were staying. It is very convenient next to the base of blackcomb and is very cheap and good value - the portions are huge and it is just the ticket before hitting the slopes.

“Not Bad”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

For somewhat fast food at a ski resort Portobello was pretty good. Nice sandwiches, hearty soups and a decent choice of salads. Pizza wasn't so great. It is pretty expensive lunch (we spent $29 for 2 people) but what you would expect for this type of resort. Much better than the junky food you get at Blackcomb day lodge. Worth the 3 minute walk if you want to eat a little bit better.
