“Where I was when Obama won his second term!”
Reviewed 9 November 2012

For what we paid the hotel was fine. The staff were pleasant, the bathroom was clean, the bed was comfy and there was a huge tv on which to watch Obama winning the election.

Things that weren't so good... the lobby smelt horrible - a slightly damp, toilet-y smell (which was even less good at breakfast) and the rooms had no drinks making facilities or hairdryers and when I asked to borrow a hairdryer in the morning they were all being used.

It's a perfectly functional hotel and served us well for the night.

When people heard I was staying on Notre Dame they thought I was crazy, but my friends and I had no problems. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was clean. My car was fine in the parking lot. There was a slight issue with our room at first, as in the door locked us in, but once we called the front desk they quickly switched our room and that was that. It was perfect in a perfect area for shopping (short trip to Polo), and it was pretty warm in our room at night. But if you're on a budget it's a great place to stay.
