I have stayed here quite a few times while passing through on business. The staff are generally courteous and helpful except the front desk. If you have a problem instead of fixing the problem, like charging a the proper credit card, they become rude and hostile. When I suggested that I might stay somewhere else next time I was told to do whatever makes me happy. Needless to say I won't be staying here again. The room they gave me was noisy. There was construction going on and it sounded like a jackhammer in the room. After asking for another room the noise level was somewhat lower but still remained. I could live with that but not with the rude, hostile and combative nature of the front desk when I have a problem that concerns them. Lots of other hotels to choose from including the new Grand Hotel right beside the airport.

Thank you for providing your review of our property and acknowledging that your previous stays have been pleasant. We understand and apologize for your concern and frustration with your treatment on your most recent stay. Third party payments can be particularly difficult when reservation changes are made and the company paying for the room does not get their paperwork in to us in a timely fashion. Please understand payment does need to be secured at time of check in while we work with your company to provide authorization - however at no time should you have felt unwelcome or unappreciated as you most certainly are both! We will coach the employee who checked you in to ensure their behaviour is corrected and we sincerely hope you will stay with us again.

Stayed here one night thanks to an airline voucher because of a flight cancellation.

Pro's: Great, helpful & friendly service at all levels (front desk, maintenance staff, bar, restaurant). Clean, nice room meeting the expectations of a hotel of this level (ended up in a Starwood Preferred Guest room, with mini-fridge and microwave oven). Even though it's a 10 minute walk from the airport, no airplane noise I could notice. Good black-out curtains to keep most light out at night.

Minor Con: No whirlpool or fitness centre.

Major Con: I'd really, really like to bring the overall rating to above the average point, but I ended up having to move it one button to the left was the food. Had supper and breakfast here, and although the service was very good, the food was not. In no particular order:
- Caesar salad needed more flavour
- "Baked spaghetti" looked like regular spaghetti in a tomato-ey Bolognese sauce that had been run through the oven (not like a lasagna-esque baked pasta)
- Weak dessert
- Only-OK breakfast sausage
- Salty hash-browns
- Barely a glisten of butter on the toast.

Nice place to visit, but not so much to eat.

My last stay the staff were extremely helpful and friendly so I thought this would be my go to hotel for frequent visits to Winnipeg. Fast forward to this stay and I wonder if a senior manager was around last time. Totally different standard at the front desk this trip. Harold at the front desk was the exception. He was very helpful and friendly. Everything else this stay was just average. There is supposed to be a shuttle from the airport but when I asked at the airport they said it was just a four minute walk through the parade.. Four minutes pushing a cart full of luggage through slush in the cold.. No thanks. Next trip I'll stay somewhere else.

We're sorry to hear that you were given incorrect information at the airport terminal regarding our shuttle, however, your review has made aware of your situation and we have contacted the airport to ensure they clarify with their staff that we do have a 24 hour complimentary shuttle that should be recommended at all times during inclement weather. Had an early morning flight and the location was great. Parked the vehicle did not have to worry about a shuttle to the airport for you were right there. Breakfast was good and the beds were great. Would recommend it for early morning flights. Hassel free.

Stayed prior to a trip out of Winnipeg. Had been here previously and the menu selection was wonderful, not to mention the food. Not now!!
Ordered the house salad for $9.00. Received a plate of wilted browned mixed lettuce with what was described as house vinegarette dressing came as a peanut type dressing. Did not finish the salad, just picked out what was edible.
The service was slow even with only four other people in the restaurant.
And the topper - not that it was the restaurant's fault - but the main entrance to to the hotel was now direct through the dining room due to a previous water leak earlier in the week. This was not told to us when we got there and were seated where both luggage, workers and guests used the area behind us as a hallway. Not to mention the workers going behind the serving area to get coffee.
The menu used to be vast here, and is now down to one page. In fact when offered the dessert menu the server brought out that menu. Oh the memories!
Bottom line, either the server is doing all the work including plating the meals due to the chef being away or the quality of food service at the Four Points has dropped considerably.

We really appreciate that you've taken time to review our property and we'd like to offer an apology and explanation. First and foremost, we are very sorry you were disappointed with your experience in our restaurant. We consider our standards for food quality to be very high and your concerns have been brought to the attention of our Executive Chef. As for your uncomfortable seating placement in our restaurant during our short-term exit rerouting, our Director of Food and Beverage will coach his servers and we understand that with all of the seating available, a more suitable and enjoyable table should have been offered when you arrived.

Our menu design was minimized to one page as directed by Four Points by Sheraton which may give the impression that the number of items offered was decreased, however the size of our current menu is comparative to the previous.

We hope you will stay and dine with us again. Please be sure your most recent experience was very unusual.

Got to Winnipeg, flight was overbooked. Offered a travel voucher from Air Canada, and they would get me a room for the night with meals. It ended up being at the Four Points by Sheraton right at the airport, a short walk from the terminal. Hotel was extremely clean, very modern, well looked after. I was quite surprised. Never really heard the planes at all, considering I could see them from my window. Food in the restaurant was fantastic, and staff was very friendly.

Room Tip: I had a room across from the elevator, which is usually as no-no, but never heard a thing.

I stay here often on business. I like that's its a 5 min walk from the airport. Nice rooms, free internet, good restauarnt food, perfect for arriving in town and setting up to do an evening of work before the business meetings the next day. If I brought fmaily I'd want to stay downtown which is closer to the action.

Plan ahead for a taxi - even though there are 50 sitting a 2 min drive away at the airport it seems to be a chore to get one to come over to the hotel.
