“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

The forks is a nice place to spend time in Winnepeg. The restaurants are not great but we did enjoy coffee from the Human Bean and the Boat ride on the Red and Assinoiboine rivers

“Great Place to Walk around”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

The Forks is a great place to walk around, sit by the water, check out the shops or restaurants or hang out at the park. Definitely worth the visit!

“If you're heading to Winnipeg, make sure you head to the Forks”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

The site is a combination of public green space, markets, buskers, shops, walking trails, and restaurants combined. It doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, there is always something happening here. I was just riding my bike through the Forks the other days and discovered that there was (what looked like to me) a battle of the bands - with bagpipes. I stopped and watched for a while. It's not every day that you see teams of bagpipe bands in their kilts and colours playing in almost every corner of a park!

“Beautiful And Fun!!!”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

It was a good experience to went to the Forks because is the beautiful place to relax, but the children and the teenagers can have fun. For the children, the Forks has a children`s Museum and a park and for the teenagers it has a skate park; "the Plaza".
I suggest for the family who just want to do a picnic or just go eat an ice cream, it is the best spot to go. It is not just a nice place to go eat! When the family goes in the lookout tower, it cans see the beautiful landscape. For more, it is a good place for tourist who wants some souvenirs of the Forks or of Winnipeg city. The tourists can do a ride of boat if they want and they can walk beside the river. If you want a nice place, you will have a lot of fun!

“Lots to Do, Much to See!”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

Even though the Red River was too high to meander over the river walk there was lots to do and much to see at The Forks. The Johnston Terminal and Market contain many shops and eateries. There are many full restaurants on the premises also. If you're into boutique shopping and ethnic eating when on vacation this would be a great place for you to visit. Then there are the sites around the grounds too that prove quite interesting. There are also two foot bridges that we found that will take you across the river to the French side.
