An elephant never forgets the unassuming window front that transforms into a modern 5 star establishment as soon as you enter. The tasty buffet selection serves all palettes. The lamb was particularly delicious. A lightly spiced chai after dinner with mango kulfi for dessert perfectly rounded off the night.

I have been to Ivory at least a dozen times for both lunch and for supper. I have only had the buffet but there isn't anything else needed. At lunch naan is included in the price of the buffet, at supper naan is an extra cost if you choose to order. All your Indian favourites are found in the buffet, navratan, dal, butter chicken, curry lamb, paneer, you name it. The buffet station is clean, well maintained and replenished often. There is parkade parking available, at lunch time there are limited spots, at supper time parking in the parkade is easier. Service is polite and the owners are on hand.

Most important thing they have free parking use it. Most people can't find parking on the street so pull off and use the parking in the building. Food is tasty but fairly mild in heat, service is good, and price is not bad considing what your getting. The Naan is fantastic and you might end up ordering more.

Our family goes to this restaurant probably 5 or 6 times a year. We really enjoy the excellent and varied selection of menu items. I'm not usually a big fan of buffets, and we have ordered off the menu, but the food in the buffet here is really very good and you can't beat the selection. The service is excellent-efficient and polite while at the same time very friendly and personable.
The naan bread is extra, but it is well worth it.
Overall this is our favourite Winnipeg restaurant, and we try to introduce as many of our friends as possible to the great food and comfortable atmosphere.

Their buffet is always a favorite to go to with friends on a Friday or Saturday night. Yummy butter chicken. Don't forget to order their cheese naan as a separate order - it's a soft cream-cheese-like consistency that is to die for.
