We decided to order the Chef''s tasting menu and were thoroughly rewarded for it! Course after course of yummy wonderful ness! It didn't get a perfect score from me in atmosphere only because the music was terrible, but that really inconsequential detail aside, it was just fabulous. It's in a really odd location, but go! Spend the $15 for a cab and go!

Don't let the commercial area where Little Louis' is located prevent you from a terrific experience. The ride up in the private elevator to Louis' made me feel as if I were back in Manhattan. Neutral colors, a baby grand piano, branches in urns, and wonderful seashell shaped fabric with subtle lighting on the walls all resulted in a lovely serene atmosphere. Relaxing background music was just right. Our waitress, Karen, was charming, knowledgeable, and efficient. A perfectly chilled vodka with complimentary amuse bouche was the beginning of a delightful dinner. The Caesar salad was generous with crisp romaine leaves and a good portion of chilled lobster knuckle. Tiny house smoked bacon tuielle added a different texture and the Granna Padano topping the salad was a perfect subtle touch. The entrée I chose was handmade pappardelle pasta plated in graceful folds and topped with delicious butter poached lobster. Mushrooms, fresh herbs, and chili pepper from Espelette, a region in France, enhanced the dish which was served with a scallop wine sauce and curry/lemon grass emulsion. This was a 5-Star experience. Absolutely inspirational; so much so that I wanted to attempt to duplicate recipes when I returned home. Unfortunately, no room for dessert. Although the waitress was busy, from start to finish, her service was unhurried and a pleasure. This would be a fun place to go to on a weekend to indulge in the oyster bar while listening to live piano. Example of cost: the Caesar salad $12/the Pasta: $28 Canadian dollars, of course. Worth the experience!!!

Phenomenal head to toe, even after all these years they never seem to falter. The food is consistent and so is the service. It's expensive but well worth it if you are looking for a classy night out.

The wait staff could use some improvement- if you're going to work at a 5 star restaurant you should look, act, and treat your guests accordingly.

However the food was excellent. Ive eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. Duck is excellent, when they have the wild boar I highly recommend it.

5star food.

This is not a typical restaurant. The atmosphere, service and the food are superb. It's very fancy and exclusive.
